Great Wait Staff!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I was here on business and I want to give a shout out to Toni. Toni was incredibly nice, it was a joy to see her every morning at breakfast. I ate at least one meal a day at the hotel and the entire wait staff was great, very attentive and helpful all around. Thank you all!

Nice but we’ve stayed at more luxurious places with more character

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

For a luxury hotel, we felt that it was nice but could make improvements. The lobby and the lobby bar area where the Christmas tree was centered in the middle was not very inviting. The furniture is plain and not cushy or very comfortable where you would want to sit very long. It suits the breakfast crowd. The furniture looks more like a cafeteria and not luxurious. Drinks are good. A bit pricey though. Service is excellent from the doormen, to the front desk and the housekeepers. Each one greeted us with a smile and a cordial salutation. The rooms are ok, but I expected more character or a “wow” factor when I entered the room. It’s spacious with a king bed, desk, extra chair (not plush - more like a side chair), credenza for the mini bar and drawers. The bathroom had a single sink, shower stall and tub. We overlooked fashion street in room 416. It was not noisy at all late at night. Room was always clean.

Best hotel ever!

Şahane! Süper! Çok merkezi! Çok temiz. Yemekler ve çalışanlar harika. Front Desk Lili is the sweetest and welcoming person ever! Thank you so much! She made our life easier. If we go to Budapest we will be definitely staying there. Hotel is on the center of everything.

A delight

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

What a lovely experience! The food was delicious, as was the wine. David, our waiter, was delightful and could not have been any more helpful, especially with food allergies. He was also very knowledgeable about the choice of wines. An impromptu visit and one that I can highly recommend.

Lovely stay and great wine and service in the restaurant.

We had a quick late lunch at the restaurant. Eduard was gracious and professional and served a glass of unforgettable wine (a Chardonnay blend) after explaining what I was looking for. Thank you, Eduard….that was the best wine on my two week trip!

Le Meridien, Budapest, which included a dinner and certain other amenities, was an outstanding experience. The suite was very large, comfortable and quiet - everything we could have asked for. The dinner was "no holds barred" including, to my great surprise, an excellent bottle of wine. All in all, the experience was absolutely first-rate.
