Incredible staff! Attentive to every request- really fast! Really nice, large room. We had a balcony room looking out on to the park aka, “the ditch”. The ferris wheel lit at night provides a nice view. Super comfortable bed with nice crisp white sheets and comforter. Our stay included breakfast each day. The offerings changed some each day. From pastries to scrambled eggs or yogurt, there was something for anyone. The sajtos pogácsa (small cheese biscuits) are amazing!

Our stay did not begin perfectly, as the booking process had a few challenges that initially left us unsure about what to expect. However, Tom Stewart completely turned the situation around and ultimately made our stay exceptional. Tom’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests are truly outstanding. It is clear that he has extensive experience in hospitality and takes great pride in ensuring guests have the best possible experience. Al Habtoor is extremely fortunate to have someone of his calibre on their team. Although I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to meet him personally, his efforts had a very noticeable impact on our stay, and I hope to thank him in person on a future visit. The only area where I believe improvements are needed is with the club lounge, however I do not think I should penalise the hotel and that they still deserve a full 5 stars because of Tom. Despite some issues, Tom’s exceptional service ultimately made our stay memorable. Because of his dedication and professionalism, I felt the hotel still deserved a five-star rating. Thanks to Tom, we will definitely be returning.

Amazing hotel, probably in the top 3 I’ve ever stayed at. Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. Special shout out to concierge for answering all of our questions and even helping book train tickets when I couldn’t get it to work and was so stressed about it. Everyone at breakfast was lovely and attentive. The front desk was always very helpful and had a taxi ready upon our request. Porters were also very helpful and pleasant. Housekeeping - wonderful! Bartenders - wonderful! Room was very clean. Sometimes a tad noisy at night with street noise/people on the streets, but with ear plugs totally fine. Great location as we walked nearly everywhere. Public transport hub right outside as well. Can’t wait to return!

Le Meridien, Budapest, which included a dinner and certain other amenities, was an outstanding experience. The suite was very large, comfortable and quiet - everything we could have asked for. The dinner was "no holds barred" including, to my great surprise, an excellent bottle of wine. All in all, the experience was absolutely first-rate.
