Alvear Art Hotel

The hotel is clean and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The staff to include the servers in the bar area, the bellman, and the front desk provided exceptional service. I have tasted many Empanadas and I have to say the ones offered in the bar area ( Wagyu Beef, Mushroom, and Salmon) were the best I had in Buenas Aires. It was a nice surprise that most of the staff were fluent in English which was extremely helpful. I can’t say enough about how kind and courteous the staff were and always willing to help. It made my trip so pleasant. The manager Carlos also was exceptional and helped me with any requests I had and provided me with a list of names of Awesome Malbec wines to try. You will not be disappointed if you stay here and I recommend it.

The location is perfect. The staff are welcoming and courteous. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable. The bathroom amenities are nice, breakfast is good. The staff recommended good shows and made the arrangements , it made our stay in Argentina more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Elegant hotel in reasonable location walkable to the main shopping area and several tourist spots. Food was excellent and staff always very helpful. Room was a little tired but the bathroom was large and spacious. Would certainly stay here again if I was back to the city.

Overall a very solid choice!!! And we would stay again. Gorgeous rooftop pool - heated and hot tub was probably my favorite ever. Super hot and great for soaking after a long day. Nice spa facilities w beautiful resting room, sauna and steam. Solid breakfast. Generously sized rooms. Double sinks and nice bathrooms, rainfall shower. Very complete and nice location. Concierge got me a hard to nab tango show ticket when everything was sold out for Christmas Eve It was also reasonably priced Housekeeping requests were not handled well but tiny flaw

This hotel is in a great neighborhood in Buenos Aires, close to Plaza de San Martin, with plenty of shops nearby and a generally safe feel. The room I stayed in was spacious, well-appointed, and very clean, although the decor was a bit bland. It had all the essentials—a comfortable bed, a fridge, and a good-sized bathroom with excellent lighting. The breakfast buffet was very good, with many different options and friendly, efficient service. There is also a nice gym with city views. While it is small, it is well-equipped, but unfortunately, it only opens at 7 am. For those of us who are jet-lagged and want to work out early, this was a bit of a letdown. One other minor issue was the coffee capsules. There is a coffee maker in the room with a few capsules, but I was charged for them at checkout. They were not expensive, and I would have paid for them anyway, but it would be nice if it were made clear that they are not complimentary. Overall, this is a very good choice for a business trip in Buenos Aires. I would happily stay here again.
