Our lunch experience was great. Fast and attentive staff with immediate seating. Melody was amazing and provided top notch service. She was very kind and engaging. Lunch was good and dessert was even better. A great option if staying at Sofitel.

This was an extremely well run Hotel with a very professional staff. It was obvious that they all had been trained very well. We enjoyed dinner one evening. The manager, Ekaterina was exceptional and we hope that the hotel knows what a great asset she is to the company. Our server was Camilla and she was so friendly, so professional, and very accommodating. It was an outstanding experience with them.

We had a wonderful experience at Alma restaurant at Sofitel Buenos Aires for lunch. We had an excellent meal, a true experience of Argentinean beef: wagyu picanha and Argentinean Malbec, delicious! But the best part was the staff. We had Diego, Noelia and Morena. They were great, went above and beyond. Good service, but really happy to talk with us about Argentinean culture, food and wine. Thanks guys!

The rooms in the hotel were decent. That being said, the shower in my bathroom desperately needed to be re-grouted and one of the tiles was also popping out and looked like it was going to pull away from the wall. The room itself was good and the air conditioning worked very nicely. I was in room 805. My biggest issue with the hotel was the lack of availability of day rooms. The hotel is used for many large travel groups. Multiple cruise lines were using the hotel along with some larger tour groups. I was with a very small travel group and many of us had very late flights on our last day and we had to sit around the hotel all day or find things to do. It was raining that day so many of our group didn’t want to venture outside. I asked for a late checkout and all they did was give me 30 minutes. So it certainly seemed like they were more interested in the groups coming in versus the people that were already staying at the hotel. I’ve never seen a hotel that won’t extend your check out for at least one to two hours because they know certain people arrive later in the day and request late check-in. For some reason that didn’t happen at this hotel. I actually told my tour group not to use this hotel anymore for that reason alone. I was able to use the spa late in the day to take a shower, but it is by far the worst and most disgusting spa I’ve ever seen in a hotel of this caliber. The shower and locker room were dirty and when you open the lockers, they are dirty and had items stored in them. The service in the hotel was very nice and the reception desk did everything they could to accommodate our request for day rooms or late checkouts, but their hands were tied. So it is obvious that management is an issue at this hotel. There are many lovely hotels in the area so I would avoid this one and stay at the Ritz Carlton, the Park Hyatt or the Plaza Alvear. These hotels are also in the same neighborhood so they’re not far away. I have stayed at other Sofitel properties around the world and this was my worst experience with the brand.

Slightly dated hotel in a quiet area with super (very) upmarket shops and restaurants nearby. Good welcome to the hotel and fast check in. Rooms were slightly dated with heavy dark furniture, but they were comfortable. The Nespresso machine had 4 pods, and 2 bottles of water were complimentary. Shampoo and shower gel smelt nice, although there wasn’t enough in the bottles to use in the bath. The hairdryer didn’t work. No USB ports to charge our phones, although we could borrow from the desk. TV was a little difficult to use - I wasn’t sure how to use the second remote- and didn’t have a clue what it was for. Lots of lovely Spanish channels, but I couldn’t find any English language news channels. Breakfast was pretty good - especially the delicious juices, which tasted as if they were from freshly squeezed fruit.
