Chileno Bay Resort & Residences

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience at this resort. Our villa was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, the grounds were immaculate, the gym was clean and well equipped, and the spa was amazing. Every single thing we ate at the resort during our five day stay was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Lots of fresh and healthy options. Access to the beach in front of the resort was easy, and the kayaking and snorkeling equipment we used were high quality and easy to check out. Most importantly, the service was unbelievable. Every staff member we interacted with - concierge, house keepers, bellmen, gardeners, food servers, etc. were courteous, friendly, and more than happy to help in any way they could. We were there during peak whale season, and the concierge desk helped us book a whale watching excursion that was the experience of a lifetime! We will definitely come back, and will bring our kids with us next time.

Food is amazing, staff is super attentive, the resort is world class. my family had an excellent time. Plenty of options for food and play. We spent most of the time at the beach, where there is amazing snorkeling and SNUBA. Very close driving distance to multiple towns and cities.

I cannot list the exceptional items because everything was exceptional, but I will try... the resort location, the cleanliness of every area of the resort (inside and out), the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the beautiful landscaping was meticulously maintained (bright and colorful as well), the airport and event transportation to town was clean and the drivers were safe and friendly. I don't think the word "NO" is in their vocabulary! I would highly recommend this resort -- expensive, but worth it!

Chileno Bay is a beautiful, well maintained resort, but is overcrowded. The rooms are nice but extremely noisy and some can be quite far from the restaurants, pools and beach. They offer golf carts to shuttle you around and residents have their own golf carts, so beware of a lot of golf cart traffic as you’re walking. The pool service is very mediocre. The residents and frequent guests will get preferential treatment over you there and at the restaurants which is to be expected. Restaurants offered good food and service, especially TNT. We’ve experienced all the high end resorts in Cabo and I rank this one at the bottom of the list for the value. Try Las Venatas, Montage or One&Only for a better experience.

One word WOW! The staff knew us all by names and were all so friendly. The hotel grounds are beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. And you get a show from the whales every morning. As well as a woodpecker which was a first for us to hear. We loved it.
