Esperanza, an Auberge Resort

Great trip all around! Beautiful resort in every way except the rocky beaches Perfect Pools for Families and Adults only Great Food options for all even though prices are high but were expected Super knowledgeable staff and team members on resort

It was an amazing experience from drinking a margarita at check-in to check-out and receiving the Esperanza wooden turtle as a departing gift. The staff was wonderful and made you feel very special. All the amenites (pool, dining, and spa) were also amazing. Loved the whole experience.

This place was the perfect anniversary getaway! Beyond luxurious in every aspect. From the restaurants, to the pool, the bars, the rooms - it can't be beat. The service is impeccable (ask for Oscar at Cocina del Mar bar) and if you see Alfredo out by the adults only pool you're in luck! We were treated like royalty and pampered daily. The rooms were stunning (bed and pillows were a dream), the drinks and food at every spot on the grounds were truly great. There is nothing here I could comment on negatively because they do such a great job and every face was warm and welcoming and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

The reviews are correct - this resort is beautiful, with exceptional service from the staff. The property is vast but extremely well-maintained and gorgeous. The pools are all well-designed with breathtaking views. We enjoyed a great breakfast each morning with excellent views while watching whales in the ocean. The spa is incredible, and our massages were fantastic. If you like resorts, nothing is missing at this property - it is a 5-star- a little coffee shop (that turns into a cute bar at night!), lots of restaurants/bars (including a swim-up), pools, and a terrific spa. The staff also go out of their way with incredible service and a big smile. The room is spacious, has a great bathroom, and is well-appointed. We were disappointed to have an ocean view from the ground floor. If we stayed here again, we would insist on staying on an upper floor. The only other negatives on our stay are 1. The property was hosting a corporate event; it looked like one of those corporate awards trips. 2. They have a walking path for morning walks, but it would be worth the investment if they extended it to include some ocean views and not just a desert landscape.

Great experience! The views are phenomenal, the food at Cocina del Mar is exceptional, and the amenities and the staff are remarkable. Expensive, but definitely worth it if you want a luxury experience all around. Recommend staying in off-season, it seems to get busy.
