Clayton Hotel Cambridge

This was the third time we have stayed at the Clayton Hotel. The facilities are excellent. The bedroom was clean, well equipped and had a comfortable bed and good bathroom. We had dinner which was also very good. Best of all were the staff. All so helpful and friendly. A special mention goes to Fillip (reception) and Kelly (restaurant) who were an absolute delight. In short, the Clayton was perfect and we won’t hesitate to stay there next time we visit Cambridge. Guy and Jane.

Wonderful breakfast 🥞! I’would like to thank everyone, specially Marta! But all the staff were amazing! Ah! Thanks to your 🧑‍🍳, of course… I was not staying at the Clayton but my choice to have breakfast in it, was, for sure, the most “delicious”… Even in a business trip it’s a 👍!

Lovely hotel. Easy walk to main attractions in Cambridge. Lots of restaurants close by. The room was large, very clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. Great selection of food for breakfast. The staff were friendly, provided and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were booked into the Clayton by the University but were pleasantly surprised by Clayton. The first impression from outside was a modern hotel. The booking in was a little slow, only one member of staff at reception. The room was very nice with a huge comfy bed and good quality linen. The breakfast was very good quality and lots variety. We had dinner on the second night, the food was excellent but the service was very slow. The server's were attentive but the supervisors showed little respect for the clients and were more interested in a member of staff with a computer at bar. The hotel is well positioned in Cambridge with an easy fifteen minutes walk into town. The parking is a little expensive. A little gem of a hotel.

Wow, what a fantastic stay at the Clayton Hotel Cambridge! The service was top-notch - everyone we met was super friendly and genuinely seemed happy to help. It really made us feel welcome the second we stepped inside. We stayed in their beautifully designed Suite, the room was absolutely massive and super comfortable. We loved it ! Breakfast option was excellent and well stocked throughout, dinner service had a super relaxing vibe and the food was absolutely delicious. The cleanliness was outstanding all around. Comfy area around the hotel really give the warm feeling and made us feel like home for the weekend. We would definitely recommend and return !
