Clayton Hotel Cambridge

Excellent hotel with good food. Service from all staff was excellent but especially the female restaurant supervisor who was really professional and helpful. The room was first class and spacious. Bathroom was clean ad very comfortable. Cleanliness in the whole hotel was first class. We loved our stay.

We stayed for one night in an executive room and had a fantastic experience. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future! The hotel is clean, modern, and had a wonderfully warm and festive atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Our room was exceptionally spacious, quality finish with an amazing, comfortable bed and a large walk in shower. The location is also ideal – just a 15-minute walk to the city center and only two minutes from the train station, which was very convenient. A special thanks to Carolina and Filip, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly memorable. Their kindness and attention to detail were deeply appreciated by both me and my family.

This is our 4th stay at the Clayton Cambridge and once again we were not disappointed. Quick pre-Xmas mini break which was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived we couldn’t fault a thing……room was excellent, we had a Queen executive room, the bed was so comfortable and huge, we slept like logs the moment our heads hit the pillows! Bathroom was lovely, with shower gel, shampoo supplied as well as lovely large towels. Iron and ironing board supplied, as well as tea/coffee. Super clean all round to a very high standard. Restaurant was lovely, breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Parking is available in station car park nearby which is about a 5 min walk and the station is also a short walk to the hotel. Thank you to all the staff who were extremely polite and helpful, in our opinion, def a 4 * plus! We look forward to visiting The Clayton again next year🤗

good location very central and 2 minutes walk from station. great for sight seeing the city and getting around. Bar closes a bit early if you want a late drink !! Breakfast was good but nothing special. Room was nice , bed was comfy. stayed 2 nights

We booked the Clayton for a short break via a special deal website and it was brilliant. The hotel is modern and stylish and conveniently situated only a minute’s walk from the station and 10 minutes from the city centre. Our deluxe room was large with an enormous bed and well fitted bathroom. The restaurant is fine and the food is good enough. Without exception the staff are friendly and helpful, especially Marta behind the bar! An administrative mix up meant that the restaurant was full up with a corporate event on our second night and the space we were transferred to was less than adequate. The staff, however, handled the difficult situation with charm and aplomb and recovered what could have been an awkward situation. Top marks.
