Clayton Hotel Cambridge

Good afternoon: Last night, April 18th, I was with my family having cocktails at the Clayton Hotel in Cambridge. My wife loved the Passion Fruits Martini and came back for another. That cocktail is spectacular. I was offered a gin native to Cambridge, and I thought it was very high quality. I recommend it. Antonio served us very kindly and was the one who recommended and prepared these drinks. We will definitely return and recommend them to our family and friends. If you're passing through Cambridge, it's a must-see. 😍

Last Friday I went to drink some cocktails with my girlfriend and we drunk passion fruit martini. Antonio did it very well and the experience was unbelievable. The local gin recommended by Antonio was incredible. We'll be back again!!!!!!

Went to visit our daughter so booked in for a night. Everything you could ask for in a city centre hotel. Great room with all mod cons, good bathroom and a lovely breakfast. The area was really good with its great selection of eating places on the doorstop. The only downside was parking which was a little pricey and in the station car park up the road. Come by train next time I think.

My colleagues and I had a business trip, and Clayton was the best option. The staff was friendly and helpful, we were fasting and they had the trouble to send us meals at 3:00 am. If we had to go again, Clayton would be our choice again. Many thanks to Mr. Ramy, the manager, Mr. David, the restaurant manager, and all the receptionists. 🌹🌹🌹

What a wonderful stay at Clayton Hotel Cambridge! We had such a fabulous time. The gentleman on reception was so professional and friendly too. It was near on perfect. The room was fabulous, comfy bed, tea, biscuits, plenty of space, large bathroom. Very happy customers. Our bed was changed 5 mins after arrival from a King to Twins as I was staying with a friend. I just asked for an extra duvet but they separated the beds instead, no hassle. The decor was so vibrant, cosy and glamorous, we loved it. We had booked dinner and the restaurant was very stylish, the food was amazing, so flavourful and piping hot. The only downside was the tall male supervisor wearing a suit refused to allow me to upgrade my free drink voucher from the house Sauvignon Blanc to a Pinot Grigio. The lovely server asked the supervisor but he said no. The tall male supervisor was making a big deal of giving the couple next to us 2 free glasses of birthday prosecco while I was sat there having been told he said I could not pay to upgrade my glass of wine. Not a nice feeling for a customer. It didn't make business sense to me as I was happy to pay the £3 difference, so I asked Ines, who I believe is the restaurant manager, when she was taking our order. She apologised and sorted the issue out immediately and I thoroughly enjoyed my glass of Pinot Grigio thanks to her and bought another. Only one other tiny disappointment is the wine is so expensive. £12 for one small glass of Pinot Grigo. Such a shame as the food is amazing and I would love to return to eat but would need to pre drink elsewhere as the wine is overpriced. Breakfast was plentiful, and great service. I asked for Decaf tea and a pot of Decaf arrived in 2 minutes. Amazing pastries too and items cooked to order if desired which was a nice touch but we were happy with the buffet choice. Hoping to return one day with my hubby. Ines is a great asset to the hotel. Overall an easy 9/10 though as Ines made sure I was happy in the end.
