Vincci Seleccion La Plantacion del Sur

I travelled as a solo parent with my two sons and we had a fantastic time. The boys loved ‘The Vinccy Club’ (kids club) and Laura was friendly kind and amazing with the kids. The pool is heated which is a bonus and the buffet breakfast on dinner is really tasty! Points to improve on in our opinion is the lunch menu, a lot of deep fried options. May be more fresh, grilled fish and salads. Also I had a massage but it was so noisy as staff were moving furniture upstairs. I did complain but the spa receptionist said there was nothing they could do about it. The entertainment and new year gala was fabulous. Most of all the staff at the hotel made the trip. Thank you again.

We recently stayed in December 2024. We arrived to a beautiful building with lovely Christmas lights. We were greeted by lovely friendly reception staff and half a glass of cheap cava. The hotel was spacious and we were soon escorted to our room. The room was large, somewhat dated and with a super super king sized bed and sofa bed. We had a TV with ? one English Channel , a kettle and fridge. Each day we were left one bottle of water. The bathroom had a shower and bath with two bathrobes and Clarins products. Each night the maid would leave a chocolate and fresh towels. We had a lovely balcony with small table and chairs and views of the pools and the sea. We had breakfast each morning. The fresh orange juice machine was a dream come true. The coffee was cold and had to ask the lovey waitress “Ricki”to supply fresh coffee each morning. There was a variety of food for breakfast and catered for all needs. The hot food was cold! The omelettes were ok but needed to be cooked for longer. The bar areas were lovely with views of both pool and sea. The lovely Ricki served us drinks and she was definitely a highlight to our holiday. There were several pools ! Some were very cold and at least two were warm. Each day you can attend aqua activities if you fancy it at 12 midday. We did not attend the evening buffet due to price- 35 euros per person. We walked out at night and enjoyed tapas opposite the Playa Fanabe beach. Here we had six tapas for 22 euros total. The hill back to the hotel from the restaurants and beach was a little too much after a long day . I would advise approaching the hotel from playa de duque shopping centre. We did experience a lot of howling wind one evening and this went into the night due to the wind blowing through the doors . As a consequence we did loose one night of sleep. Overall. We had a lovely holiday. It’s definitely not a five star hotel. More of a failing four star hotel that needs up dating …

I had a lovely sea view right above the buffet, every evening there was live music with some great artists. I loved very much the bed which was so comfortable and huge. The decor was nice and the pool area very luxuriant, check in was very fast. I would only suggest as an improvement regarding doors which are not greatly noise proofed, as sometimes you could hear people passing by. Not a big deal though.

We loved our stay at the Vincci La Plantation. The staff were so friendly and helpful and our week was so wonderful we are planning to return next year. The grounds are superb, the swimming pools lovely and warm and we really enjoyed the adults only pool. Breakfast was amazing, great quality food in fabulous surroundings. We ate in the a la carte restaurant several times for dinner and the food was delicious. We had a villa which was really lovely. A balcony with sea views and a rooftop terrace with sunbeds & whirlpool. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and we also had a separate dressing room. The only negative I would mention is that some of the furniture in the room was a bit dated. The sofa was a bit worse for wear. Nevertheless we loved the hotel so much we are planning our return

Here just now room 126 so will update once home but main things - hotel is absolutely stunning best we’ve had in Tenerife & on year 17!! ▪️service amazing staff can’t do enough for you. ▪️Food & Cocktails amazing ▪️Clarins toiletries ▪️spa bath, comfiest beds, lots of storage & coat hangers, free safe ▪️hotel is spotless Will update once home but so far much more than a 5 star ⭐
