Fernando from La Joya made my experience at this hotel so much better! He had the best customer service and handled us with so much care. His whole team at the restaurant was great! He gave us knowledge about the town and tequila. He made sure to check on our table very frequently to see if we needed anything. If you go to this restaurant make sure you ask for Fernando! I promise he will take care of you.

We loved everything about this place. We had so many great servers that I can’t remember all of their names but Chantal took good care of us while we were on the beach and Ivan and Joel went out of their way to help us. Juan and Miguel out front always made sure we have transportation and were always so kind. I wish I would have got the names of our cleaners because the rooms were always so clean and they were so professional

Just got back, family of five, kids (10,13,15). I could write for days, sorry in advance! Look at reviews and the hotel website once you book. A little planning and idea what to expect helped us a ton. Yes, you need to make reservations. We didn’t have any problems getting into the places we wanted. They can email the manager to make some stuff happen, or just walk in! If you know that activities they offer on different nights, it helps. There are 3 non-reservation restaurants (smaller menus associated w Torri/Chianti/and the Steakhouse, but you can try to walk in to any of the reservation places and try to get in) We knew there was a fire show so we walked down to the beach restaurant and ended up with an amazing dinner while watching the whole show. Great start to the vacation! HIGHLIGHTS -the hibachi for the fun dinner/show element -kids loved the 24karat show in the ballroom (pop song and dance show) Steakhouse-food was great-book 7:30 or later and again you get dinner and a (tango) show. -breakfast buffet-something for literally everyone. Kind of fun to sit outside and fend off the birds. Avoid 9-10 (most crowded) -Isla Contoy-under the palapa is a lovely vibe for breakfast or lunch with a view and a breeze. No towels/wet suits (try the whole fish catch of the day! It was grouper and wow) -lunch by the pool-don’t skip the cevicherria-the aguachile verde was fresh and so good. -general pool menu had mediocre food (imo), but kids liked wings and pizza -get mango margaritas, passionfruit mojitos and a million nada-coladas poolside:-) -silent disco one night was fun for all of us -ocean front view and kids having their own room (our “suite” was two adjoining rooms) -twice daily, consistent housekeeping Some parts of the resort are a little worn, (couches in the lobby lounge!!) but some are brand new like the spa, the whole lower level, and the pool bathrooms on the far end. -Pools were warm. We walked the one block to the grocery store and got inner tubes that entertained the kids in the waves for hours. -swimming out to the floating dock, kayaks and paddle boards -the fish and steak tacos and lounging at the boho beach lounge (moms favorite place in the resort:-) We had planned to do excursions to Isla Mujeres and snorkeling and never needed/wanted to leave the resort. I’d recommend this place to anyone!!

The hibachi was the best service I had received at this resort. Smiles, the employees genuinely seemed happy to be there and around us. They interacted and made us laugh. Vitali was our chef and he did an incredible job interacting with my family and me! Super happy with our hibachi experience!

This hotel is luxurious and beautiful! The staff was always gracious and helpful and encouraged my attempts at speaking Spanish! :) The fresh flowers were lovely, the pool was marvelous, and the food for our conference was scrumptious!
