My wife and I stayed at Hyatt Zilara Cancun recently for 3 nights - and we had a wonderful time! We wanted to book something closer to the airport - this property is in the hotel zone only about 20-30 minutes away from the airport. We had a wonderfully relaxing trip - spending most of our time by the beach and pool. We had a king room with an ocean view, and it was great having a balcony to watch the ocean from. There was a hot tub in the room, but sadly we did not use it. It looked great though! We never had an issue finding a poolside chair despite only getting out there around 10 or 10:30, and there were tons of beach chairs available too. The water was warm, and I didn't see much of any sargassum. We booked a cabana one day, and that was a great experience too - Victor did a fantastic job making sure we always had drinks, and would check in frequently with us (but not too frequently!) The cabana came with two drinks served inside coconuts, which was a nice touch too. As far as food is concerned, there are only 4 restaurants - a Mexican Restaurant, Asian Restaurant, Global Buffet, and Carribean/Meditteranean Restaurant, but food was great and the menus had plenty of dishes that we would have loved to try if we had more time. We received great service from the wait staff - from Julio and Rafael at Maria Maria, to Arturo and Cande at Punta Vista. The buffet wait staff was super busy - but Rossy took care of us and made sure we had drinks as well. Speaking of drinks - they were good. They didn't use real fruit in their blended drinks (we didn't ask either) - but the alcohol they used was high quality, brands you'll recognize and not in a bad way. We weren't ever disappointed with our drinks. We booked a couples massage at the spa. A bit pricey, but it's too be expected from an all inclusive. With that in mind, we had a great time using the hydrotherapy section (steam room, sauna, cold pool, water massage features) and two wonderful massages from our masseuses, Alejandro and Teresa. The fitness center is great - it has a smith machine, barbells, dumbbells, plenty of machines for isolated lifts, and tons of cardio equipment. I've been to larger properties with smaller gyms - both my wife and I got a couple workouts in. I especially loved the outdoor lap pool. I think the gym faces west, so it's also a nice place to see the sunset. Overall - we really enjoyed our time here and would consider it for a longer stay as well. While not the largest property, the beach was pristine and I never felt like it was too busy, which is a testament to the staff.

This was our 2nd trip to Hyatt Zilara this year and both trips were equally outstanding. We are going to try to make it back one more time hopefully in February before they close down April 1st to do major renovations through the end of 2025. Rooms are spacious and clean, that also continues to the beautiful pools, the main lobby, the outside grounds and there isn’t a better stretch of beach anywhere else along the hotel zone. The food was great and the alcohol was quality not watered down or bottom shelf liquor like you see at so many other all-inclusive resorts. All the employees that work there were professional, nice, and very attentive to your needs, but I want to give a quick special shout out to a few that really stuck out to my wife and I. Ivan, who is in charge of poolside chairs and cabanas amongst other things, he took care of us every single day, checked in with us throughout the day and made sure everything was good and always asked if we needed anything, also would like to recognize another (Ivan) that is a waiter at the oceanfront PUNTA VISTA restaurant. Good service, he took the time to have quality conversations with us and was just a pleasure to have as a waiter, also want to say the young hostess at this restaurant that sat us in our seats every day was wonderful also, beautiful smile, always happy, and just truly a beautiful person, ( cannot remember her name for the life of me at this moment) she recognized us at Mexican fiesta dinner night in the main lobby, and there were very few seats left and she went out of her way to get us a personal 2 person table near the front of the event close to the stage, we were grateful. Finally, I have to recognize my main man,DAVID we would go to the PUNTA VISTA restaurant three times a day lol just to get the Veracruz shrimp cocktail and request David every time he was working cause his Service was absolutely amazing. We would modify our orders quite often from what is listed on the menu and he would nail it every time, our drinks never went empty, and his smile and positive energy was truly awesome to be around. 5 ⭐️ employee!!!! We’re excited to see the resort once the major updated renovations are done and we will most definitely be back again and again.

Fantastic stay and wonderful people! Beautiful, clean resort. Food was good with Asiana being the best. The beach and the pool was very accessible; plenty of room for all. Small feedback…Universal phone chargers and/or working USB plugs in the rooms would have been nice.

The staff as always was very welcoming at every opportunity. We always stay at the swim up suites as we love the semi private pool and the quick access it provides to the larger pool and beach areas. This time we came I had to adhere to a Gluten-free diet and the entire staff was very accommodating to make sure I had options regardless of which restaurant we ate at. My wife and I decided to do a couples massage and I must say Yanira and Brenda were incredible. When we stay at a resort that offers spa treatments we always opt for a massage and the ones provided by Brenda and Yanira are among the best. We look forward to coming back yet again for another trip at the Hyatt Zilara.

Smaller resort, so it was so easy to get around and didn't have to walk 3 miles to get anywhere. The staff was great as well! So accommodating. We saw Eduardo and Luis every day at the Casa del Cafe, and they were always happy to make us our daily coffee. Patricia did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I morphed from a crazy looking person to a princess. She was so thorough and thoughtful. Hilda at the Zen Spa took care of my husband and I, and she was the sweetest. We felt so pampered. Gloria at the Asian restaurant was such a sweet Hibachi chef. She was a new chef but our food turned out so good. And last but not least, our wedding coordinator Pamela made our wedding day perfect. I'm so surprised and grateful for such a smooth care free experience. I felt like it was all meant to be!
