Wyndham Alltra Cancun

We were a family of 8 traveling over Christmas and New Years. It was a terrible experience for the price we paid for the resort, which was very small, over crowded and very noisy. We love the beach but you have to get up for 6 to reserve beach chairs as there are only 13 umbrellas available on the entire resort beach. We left for a quick walk and upon our return our stuff was removed by the staff as they said we were gone for too long. There was no way of getting into the restaurants no reservations and long wait times so we ate off the resorts 7 out of 9 nights there and spent $$$$ more then we would have liked. Food at the buffet was good. Pool area was small. Rooms were clean but small. Would never recommend this resort for the money we paid definitely more of a 3 star not 5 star hotel.

Comfort, friendliness of staff, ease of transportation (uber) etc. All went so well! Lots of food choices and places to eat, felt safe! Highly recommend Harry’s Steakhouse off resort about a mile away. We would definitely go back! Plenty to see and do, we did the jungle trip Mayan ruins tour and snorkel in cave! EVERYONE was super respectful and accommodating. Loved our vacay!

Great experience, didn't like the pillows at all but the best service and attention specially at the restaurante AT Sunset and I have to mentioned Salomón (waiter) and Nayeli (captain) the best, warm, nice people ever. They make you want to come back! ❤️

Had a wonderful family vacation for Christmas this year - there was up to 17 of us there and all found plenty of things to do and engage with throughout our trip. We even had a stormy day where we stayed indoors but with all the amazing entertainment, really ended up being our favorite day together. And thanks to the full entertainment team who were great - Axel, Angie, Andrea, Frankie....

Great location for families with children. Really liked the room for 5, and the layout of the resort that is on the smaller size with everything located less than 3 minutes from our room. The resort itself could benefit from renovations but overall is still in good shape, with a great offering. Gym needs to be updated though. Food is not always tasty and quality could be improved, but at least there is something for everyone (vegan, gluten free, lactose free, healthy options). Beautiful beach with the Cancun white sand. The main asset of this resort is the staff. All the people we interacted with during our stay were kind and helpful. Special thanks to Rubi, Ali and Janna at Camp Alltra, Jaime and Agustin at Ventanas, the great Norma and Fatima at the clover pool bar, and the fantastic man (who I forgot the name sorry) who served me coffees and conchas at the Cafe Mexico everyday at 4:30am during the New Year week.
