Hotel Martinez

I stayed at the Martinez for many years as a boy and it was my second home. As I grew older we moved to the Carlton for many years but sadly the Carlton became too Corporate. Hyatt have done an amazing job at the Martinez. Everything is designed to the very highest quality and standard. The excellence of the huge team of staff is exemplary. Paul in reservations ensured we were well looked after. We will for sure choose Martinez first every time in Cannes.

It's always so nice to return to the Martinez. Warmly welcomed like long lost friends by the concierges including Frederic and then at the front desk by Saida set the scene for another enjoyable stay, Sadly the weather was not great but the lovely room and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff more than made up for this. We particularly enjoyed the La Plage restaurant and don't dismiss Room Service with its extensive menu, especially breakfast. Looking forward to coming back later this year.

I travel five times every year to France with my husband and/or friends. This is the first time I chose the Martinez hotel. Love the ambiance and very clean classic rooms of the Martinez. The Martinez is for the discerning traveler. Giles Bontems (Director of Operations) is admirably on the spot if one encounters any problem or help . The GM Michel Cottray is one typical charming hotelier of the old Swiss school! Enjoy the French Riviera by staying at the Hotel Martinez! For lovers/ collectors, this hotel holds seasonal auctions for estate jewelry, cars, etc., I was fortunate to have been present during my 7 nights' stay with my daughter and a friend. I shall return with my husband and more friends.....

Fabulous hotel with everything you’d expect from a grand stay on the Riviera. The room was lovely, the sea views were breathtaking, and both the pool and gym were excellent. The location couldn’t be better. As a Globalist, I received a generous upgrade to a sea view junior suite — compact, but with a view that’s truly unforgettable. A bottle of rosé was waiting in the room, which set a perfect tone for the stay. Breakfast deserves a special mention — one of the best I’ve had globally. That said, a complimentary glass of bubbly would have elevated the experience (especially considering the rather ambitious pricing on the wine list). Bar Martinez is an absolute must — the lady running it clearly knows her craft. A perfect balance of elegance and precision. And a special thank you to the manager who looked after me during my stay — I believe his name was Amran? — effortlessly professional, warm, and genuinely attentive. Truly born for hospitality.

Excellent upmarket hotel. Junior suite with balcony & sea view booked. Very stylish, clean and modern room with excellent facilities - except bathroom didn't have double wash basin , very comfortable bed. The whole hotel is delightful , staff professional and friendly, two names I'd like to mention e.g. Florian on reception and Thomas in the dining room. Architecture, location, comfort hospitality and high-end service... almost perfect! Level of excellence in its services, considerate, smiling, professional staff that put you at ease right away. Breakfast & dinner excellent, though at breakfast time you might have to wait quite some time before your coffee order arrives, to avoid this best order a pot of coffee!
