Worth it, just for the rooftop bar

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This hotel is exactly what you need in Cannes if you are not willing to spend 1500$ a night. Lovely rooms, but the suites makes the stay unforgettable. A very lovely spa and an amazing rooftop bar. Staff is very helpful despite the high season mess and the entire hotel is renovated.

Disappointed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I booked here for my wife’s birthday and wanted a place in Cannes with a pool. Unfortunately you have to pay extra to use the pool as it’s part of a spa (20 euros per person and you have to pre book and can only use it for 2 hours). We stayed here when it was under another company and this was not the case then. Our room was good and clean but we had a sea front room and there were road works ongoing from early in the morning (I wasn’t pre warned about this) so no relaxing lie in! We also had breakfast in the cafe which was vastly overpriced for what it was! Staff were quite friendly and helpful though.

Best hotel and service during our 20 day trip in France

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Absolutely fell in love with our stay in Cannes and our stay at the the Hilton Canopy. Truly it was our favorite spot during a 20 day journey through the South of France. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and could not have asked for more stellar service which we received by all departments: Valet/front desk/housekeeping and the roof top bar (for both delicious breakfast buffets and great service in the the evening for cocktails and appetizers). Views from the restaurant are breath taking. Alice, though especially saw to it that we were well taken care of- including contacting a colleague she knew, to be sure to greet us upon our arrival in Nice at a Hilton Doubletree Property. The chef for the roof top bar apparently hails from New York. The complementary olives that we received with our cocktails and other ordered appetizer were absolutely amazing! (the chef's personal recipe). We asked our server if we could buy them in a jar somehow. Apparently a bottled version is not available- however room service or the restaurant delivered another serving of the heavenly olive mixture later to our room. Divine! Our room was spacious with a partial ocean view. Loved this stay and appreciate all the staff's efforts to make us feel so welcomed!!

Great location and nicely updated with quaint, but small rooms.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Updated and nicely situated, the hotel is a good choice. The rooms are tight, so not a lot of desk room for working. The Spa is nice and the fitness center is ok. They need to add floor mats and exercise balls. The hotel should also offer wash cloths along with the other towels. Good place but very little space.

Overpriced banishment that birds love to poop on.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We arrived and expected to stay in hotel but given a room in apartments. The apartments were separate from the hotel by a long corridor. The view from the room was nice but the cushions on terrace were covered in bird droppings. The room itself was dated with dim lights in the bathrooms. Half the room was taken over by a large table, presumably for business deals, but impractical for a traveling couple. As we were undressing, the maid opened our door, creating an embarrassing moment. Very strange to charge 430 euros and still have the audacity to charge 35 euros pp for breakfast. The Moxy at CDG was a third the price and much more accommodating, even for an airport hotel.
