Truly an amazing place to stay. We were so taken care of. The room and views are gorgeous. The spa is delightful. The food is delicious. It was the perfect venue for a very special birthday getaway. We can't wait to come back!

So much attention to all the details to ensure our comfort. Luxury lotions, soaps, bath additives, pillows, throw blanket, snacks and beverages. Heated floors in restroom was a real luxury. Nice big towels, comfortable sheets, robes with slippers, candles, binoculars, flashlight, so many thoughtful touches.

I had longed to stay at The Stephanie Inn for literally years. Staying somewhere like this is not anywhere near our norm for a vacation for the two of us. I was thoroughly delighted with every aspect of our stay. The friendliness of staff members, the eagerness to ensure that we had everything we would like at every opportunity, the attention to detail and the amenities provided were absolute perfection and greatly appreciated.

The Inn is lovely! We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Breakfast, included with our stay, was amazing. The best Irish Oatmeal (steel cut oats), fresh fruit, great coffee as well as many other typical buffet style foods as well as a few grill options. We did not find Dinner at the inn worth the expense. It was average at best. I would encourage visitors to make advanced reservations at Anna's Table, AMAZING!! and worth the cost. Stephany Inn is perfectly located to access the beautiful Cannon Beach, and about 1.5 mile walk to town. Truly perfect.

This was probably our 5th or 6th stay at The Stephanie. They pride themselves on old fashioned hospitality. Think, concierge service on a cruise ship. They are very welcoming upon entering. They have an itinerary of sorts on check in. The lobby has cookies and coffee available at all hours. The bellman showed us to our room before we had a chance to get our bags from the car. We did not need baggage assistance as we were on the first floor and only staying two nights. But once in the room he insisted on doing this awkward orientation of the room, including pointing out the features of the bathroom. It was just weird and unnecessary. We finally got him to leave and he came back to show us more features. Like, I get it dude, I can find a light switch, this is not my first time in a hotel room. This was especially weird since we still had to leave the room to go to the car to get our bags. The rooms have had some updates over the years. I can tell they have been taking steps to be more “green” and environmentally friendly. They have cold filtered water in the fridge in a carafe, instead of disposable water bottles, which I appreciate. It was also nice to see they support local businesses with the drinks and snacks left in the room. The walls are very thin, however. We did not sleep very well. I ended up putting on a white noise app and earplugs to drown out the noise from next door. Be advised, if you are wishing to be “romantic” with your partner, the walls are thin. They have a complementary wine and beer hour with some snacks as well as offer a night cap drink. We skipped the night cap drink this time. They offer turn down service and a chocolate with it. The chocolate was surprisingly not good. Like a peppermint patty gone bad. The breakfast has been a little different each time we have stayed. They still have buffet style hot foods, yogurt and pastries. Now they also present you with a menu for made to order items. They bring coffee French press style, but they don’t make it properly. They push the plunger down and serve immediately. We asked the second morning to just leave the French press, and we will allow it to brew and push the plunger ourselves. They didn’t listen and served it immediately. It’s surprising they don’t make coffee probably for being in the Northwest and a high end hotel. Finally, at the end of the meal they now present you with a “bill” showing the value of the meal that is included with your hotel stay. If you are ordering alcoholic drinks and have special requests, it makes sense. But for a party that is just getting a basic buffet breakfast, they are asking for a tip, and it felt tacky. The oceanfront rooms are lovely. You can’t beat the view and the location. I enjoyed being able crack the patio door and have the sounds of the ocean from the comfort of the room. I don’t think I would stay here in a mountain view room, it’s not worth the price to me without the ocean view.
