About the Hotel

The moment you arrive at Cap Maison Resort & Spa, located on the sublime island of Saint Lucia, you will feel as if you are a privileged castaway. The natural beauty and airbrushed ocean bluff setting is what makes this hideaway a true standout. The design is equal parts rustic and refined, coupled with Spanish-Caribbean flair. Behind a collection of white-washed structures are one, two and three-bedroom suites with varied floor plans that include split-level designs, spacious bedrooms and private rooftop pools. Folding doors push back to seamlessly mix the outside with the indoors. As for the views and service, both are deserving of high marks. The gardens are beautifully manicured and the secluded sandy beach, which rests several feet below, seems practically deserted even when the resort is at full capacity.

Reviews for Cap Maison

FEB 2023 - St Lucia paradise

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Actually visited Feb 2023, but I don’t have the option to go back that far and am only just playing catch-up. We had a fantastic week at Cap Maison. Couldn’t fault the food, atmosphere, service or standard of the hotel. The beach was great - clean, good lifeguard service, and the Naked Fosherman was the perfect place to hang out for food and drinks. Our only comment (definately not a criticism) is that there isn’t too much for kids to do, so just think about this before booking. We bought four teenagers and they kept themselves busy, so it was no issue for us. It’s also at the very north of the island, which makes day trips to the centre/south/pitons that bit longer as the journey time increases. A few reviews said to beware the steps up from the beach to the resort, but they really aren’t that bad at all if you’re in reasonable health! It’s a fairly small resort, and if we were to return may split the week into two, and just have three or four nights here as some of the other guests were doing. Otherwise, it was almost perfect.

Stunning hotel with views and service second to none.

This was our second visit for our main family holiday and it did not disappoint. We love this hotel. The staff go to any length to make sure you have the best holiday, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful, the food is incredible and the restaurants settings have the most stunning views. The service is first class. I highly recommend this hotel. The wine tasting in the cellar is a must ! We will most definitely be back for a third visit.

Heaven and hospitality for our anniversary!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

As part of the Peak to Beach package, my husband and I stayed at Cap Maison for the second half of our trip. I wanted to be at Cap Maison when we celebrated our 30th anniversary. When we arrived, Jamie was very welcoming (and helpful throughout our stay)! The grounds were so well kept and very lush with many varieties of hibiscus and other tropical plants. The villa we stayed in was spacious and the bedroom air-conditioned. The fans throughout the villa made us quite comfortable. I loved the natural light the windows provided. There was access to our pool from our bedroom and there was even an outdoor shower connected to the shower inside. The pool was clean and we loved relaxing and enjoyed the view of the coconut trees and flamboyant tree. You didn't have a direct view to the ocean because there were some plants to give you some sense of privacy. However the view from the porch and the chairs provided in the yard were something else. We were in our own little heaven. And since it was the slow season, there was hardly any other guests around our villa. Housekeeping was quick and friendly when we saw them. The turndown housekeeper made us these beautiful towel art swans with fresh flowers. It was a very thoughtful touch. The Cliff restaurant was incredible. So much food and so beautifully presented! The filet was top notch as was every course presented. We were always offered fresh fruit and pastries at breakfast. We did not know, because it was the slow season, that the Cliff is not open every night, and it rotates with The Naked Fisherman. But it did not impact us since we had reserved the gazebo for our anniversary dinner. I didn't realize that most people reserved the Rock Maison for anniversaries but the gazebo was perfect in our eyes- the view of the beach from the cliff, the view of the sunset, only steps from our villa. Jamie, the concierge, shared that people were very respectful of the events in that space since it was in more of a public/ open area. It would be perfect for a wedding. Kazia (spelling?) was an absolute professional and so kind and joyful in attending to us during our anniversary dinner. The chef even came out with her to present dessert which had a special message written in chocolate on our plates. All of it divine. The beach was fantastic since the chairs were part of the packages as was all of the water sport equipment. We enjoyed snorkeling right off the beach. I'm here to tell you that Bob is the hardest working individual with the most joy. You could tell he loved engaging with the guests and making sure we were all attended to and had all the drinks and food we needed. Honestly, almost every employee we encountered reflected the pride they took in their work- the pool keepers, the grounds keepers, housekeeping, barkeep, the waiters and waitresses, concierge. The pool pump stopped working ( they are normally on a timer) and the crew was more than happy to check into for me and get it running. Oh, and my massage at the spa was heaven, too! I wish I could remember everyone's names! Do not hesitate to stay at Cap Maison. You won't be disappointed. And... if you encounter the black cat at the restaurant, he just wants pets and he will let you know it. ;)

Top notch resort with even better staff. A++

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This place is simply amazing! A peaceful and tranquil resort that feels like a Spanish villa getaway in tropical paradise. We were originally staying at a different resort nearby, with our wedding scheduled, and decided to leave. This place was exactly what we needed. They were so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. I'm terrible with names but everyone at the front desk was amazing (I recall Darnell). The food was delicious and we did the all inclusive. Naked Fisherman and The Cliff were both delicious. We never had anything we didn't love. Kasia was amazing at The Cliff. Sasha was awesome at Naked Fisherman. Janin pulled off our wedding in only a few days and was awesome. Taddy was our server for the wedding and she was amazing and friendly. I can't say enough positive things about Cap Maison. Everyone there was like family and we do plan to go back. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay at Cap Maison. I promise you won't regret it. The best trip my wife and I have ever taken.

A Picture Perfect Engagement Trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I can’t be more effusive and grateful about our experience at Cap Maison. We’d stayed there for a total of 7 nights, and from the moment we were greeted by Charlie in a roomy, and perfectly air conditioned, van at the UVF airport we were embraced by the resort’s diligent, but effortlessly feeling commitment to white glove service and comfort for its guests. The grounds are simply immaculate with lush flora and views greeting the eye at every turn. The food across the resort is top notch including the Naked Fisherman’s lunch on the stunning Smuggler’s Cove beach, and the breakfast at The Cliff with a 5-star selection served with a breathtaking view of Signal Peak and the Caribbean Sea. Ross and the rest of the team made us feel like family at every moment and were so sweet and enthusiastic when we returned from our excursion to Dominica and shared news of our engagement. We’ll certainly be back to this slice of boutique heaven on an already exceedingly beautiful island.
