Unfortunately our stay was not as good as it could be. We were moved to another room because of an issue with the power, but the new room lacked a telephone, an outlet for the coffee machine, had only one sink and one day did not have hot water. So we felt the value was not worth it.

We attended a wedding at this resort in early April. While the weather was.....April, the wedding events were wonderful. The staff was engaging and very professional. The food was spectacular. We did not stay at the resort, but by all appearances, it would be fantastic. Highly recommend it and many, many levels above other Cape venues and resorts.

The Wequasset is beautiful! You can’t beat the location & amenities. My room was very clean and had a nice nautical flair. My only complaint was there was 0 water pressure, so it was a fairly cold shower. The food was exquisite. I loved every meal! My favorite drink was the rose martini (add vodka!). Service in Thoreaus was very slow, but service the rest of the time was top notch, especially from front lobby staff. I walked the beach and found some beautiful shells! Definitely worth a visit!

While the location is fabulous and the weekend was filled with holiday magic, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing including stains on the rugs and the towels were like sand paper. Not as magnificent as it used to be! Hopefully some updating is planned!

This place is very nice! More so for the summer months. Went for the Christmas festivities which were very nice. The issue is the place is small and to have a big crowd of people, there really wasn't any place you could just sit inside. We tried both bar areas, but they were packed. and nobody was moving, even though they were not drinking or eating. Spent most of the time outside, in the cold as a paying customer. Once we finally got a seat in Thoreau's bar, it is tiny ( 8 seats at the bar) and the poor bartender was so busy it took awhile to get a drink. We didn't want to eat, so we had no where else to go. Probably best not to go when they have a big event, if you are staying there. Staff was great! 5 stars for sure for them. Room was good, plenty of room and good size bathroom.
