It was a nice visit.
3043 was quite a hike to get too. It seemed old style and somewhat worn, not what I am used to at Hiltons. I had to ask housekeeper to vacuum floor. Not many room amenities, but didn’t spend much time there.The lobby was great, the dining room was very nice and because the temperature was cool, we didn’t take advantage of the outside, but looked nice. I was on a package deal to see the condos up the road- transportation was not provided and I feel the $40 per day for valet was pretty high, considering there wasn’t much building . near the hotel. The people working valet were very nice, as was the staff in the hotel.

Cape Rey Carlsbad definitely did not disappoint!!
Awesome stay! Upon arrival we were happily greeted by the valet, Beck. He was attentive, personable and very helpful throughout our stay! We then met Bob at the front desk who checked us in and whom we found to be quite pleasant, congenial and welcoming! During our stay we had a few glitches with the room reservation and charges, none of which were the fault of any staff but rather computer issues. Julissa and Hermine worked to correct the issues and were extremly accommodating and gracious. Michelle, the manager, went above and beyond to correct everything and made sure we would enjoy our stay. Kudos to you all and you all deserve raises! The few times we were in the bar/restaurant we found the staff there to be friendly, personable and helpful as well. In addition, the room was clean and spacious. The bed, linens and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Excellent Stay!
Awesome stay! parking garage is easily accessible directly across the street. Bikes are available for use. Property is beautiful. their patio/dining area has a lovely sunset view-tables are first come-first served; get their early for a good table. Live music during happy hour on the patio. Fire pit areas near the pool. Beds are comfy. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Carol's spa treatment was unbelievable!
The stay was perfect. I had a reflexology massage in the spa. Carol was phenomenal. Best massage I've ever had. I think I cried, on the inside of corse. The restaurant, Chandlers, is a great place to enjoy a meal with an ocean view. Janai is an amazing server I was fortunate to have twice during my stay. She is a ray of sunshine.

Breathtaking views
Beautiful hotel with super friendly staff!! The rooms are amazing very comfortable with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean! A wonderful outdoor area that you can even enjoy when it’s a little chili out. Great happy hour at the restaurant too! I will be staying again on my next visit to Carlsbad, Ca
