We attended a wedding at Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa and our stay could not have been better! We stayed in the suite, which was beautiful. We ate several meals at the restaurant and they were delicious with great service. The wedding itself was in the hotel and was terrific with great food. There was a lot of shopping near by. We were in the old city, which is charming. We visited the historic fort, which was a short Uber ride away.

From the first time stepping into the lobby until we left, we felt cared for and welcomed. Food at all restaurants was excellent. Pool area is fabulous with a 360 degree of the city. The hotel is in a great location to explore by foot this city behind a walled

We had a 3 night stay upon our arrival from the US. The hotel is just inside the historic city walls in the Old Town. There is excellent access to shopping and dining. We felt very safe walking in a group in the area both day and night. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We took tours on both of our full days in Cartegena. Both afternoons, it poured rain and we all got soaking wet. All of our clothes needed to be laundered - really dried - as there was no way there were going to dry with the local humidity. The staff were diligent and very quick about getting our clothing back to us. The breakfasts were delicious. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel while attending a wedding. The facilities are beautiful. The size of the rooms is similar to other colonial hotels in Cartagena, but the beds are very comfortable. We had a room with view to the wall and the ocean, and although outside was very noisy, inside the rooms was quiet and did not interrupt our sleep. The staff were very attentive to detail, and the service was outstanding.

Beautiful hotel, in an incredible location. The private terrace was especially lovely in the evening. The rooms were gorgeous with beautiful details. The breakfast was in a beautiful setting with vertical green walls. The main cons were lack of drinking water (the hotel provides two small complimentary bottles per day which is not sufficient given the tap water is not potable and given the heat) and poor wifi in the rooms.
