Martinhal Cascais

Absolutely stunning hotel. Set just outside the beautiful Cascais, the hotel staff couldn’t have done more for us. It’s only a short €4 taxi into the centre. The rooms are huge, and the bed might have been the biggest bed I’ve ever seen! Lovely personalised touch with branded toothbrushes with our names on them when we arrived too. My partner mentioned to the sales manager he was planning to propose and they went out of their way to provide restaurant recommendations and even rang ahead to let them know we were coming as a surprise! Amazing touch that went a long way. Will definitely be returning!

We would just like to say a big thank you for the wonderful customer service we received from Luiza Silva on reception and also from Francisco Homem Ferreira. We unfortunately had a small issue with our room and the manner in which they dealt with both the issue, and us more generally, was just exemplary. The care and attention they showed us was outstanding and made a real difference to our holiday. Thank you also for the cake and bubbles for my husband's birthday - that was a lovely touch too.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The villa was very spacious and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the entire staff was fabulous. We would have appreciated if there was a heating in the bathroom (which we found a bit cold) and if the breakfast at the hotel was served a bit earlier. Currently, the restaurant only opens at 7.00 pm so that it is a bit difficult to start golfing early and to have breakfast before. However, everything else was wonderful.

We had an amazing stay. The first thing we noticed upon entering the hotel was the remarkable scent that awakened all our senses. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The bar serves well-prepared drinks and has a cozy yet fancy atmosphere. We also had a great experience at the spa. Breakfast offered a variety of fresh drinks, and the pancake machine was a nice touch. The dining area was cozy. We would love to come back in the summertime.

Great five star hotel at three star prices in the best seaside suburb of Lisbon. Great property in a beautiful setting, very comfortable rooms, nice breakfast, and wonderfully welcoming staff!!! The property is also next to world class golf course! Beautiful building in a beautiful place!!!
