My wife and I revisited the beautiful Domes Noruz in October 2024, having previously stayed when we got engaged in 2022. We love travelling and visiting new places but the one exception we were thrilled to make was to go back to Domes Noruz Chania. It is simply a magical place with a wonderful staff who do everything to ensure you have a wonderful stay. A lot of places say they cater for the guests but very few do it as well as the team in Domes Noruz Chania. The staff greet you like friends and everyone knows who you are and your coffee order after a day or two! The team even moved us to a spectacular beach view suite for the final few days as a complimentary upgrade to mark that we were returning guests and give us a different experience from the room we stayed in 2 years earlier. A lovely touch that was greatly appreciated. The setting is stunning, with a beautifully and architecturally stunning property on the beach with such unique and tastefully designed rooms. The breakfast on the beach (or inside if you prefer) is fantastic and combined with the excellent early morning yoga classes (with a brilliant instructor) are a great start to the day. Even when full the property is never crowded as plenty of beds by the pool or beach to lounge. The food is excellent although we preferred to go to Chania in a 10 minute taxi to experience the variety and buzz in this beautiful harbour town. Well done to all the team in Domes Nurez Chania and it’s a great sign for a resort to see familiar faces such as the friendly Nikos and Sarah at the bar from 2 years earlier. Special thanks also to the excellent Eugenia and Elpida at front desk, the super yoga instructor and Chris the nighttime porter who checked us in with a warm welcome.

Great property with some amazing views and good food. Check in was tedious after a long flight…the whole “please sit down and we will come over and give you lots of info while you’re tired and jet lagged” but the folks were very nice here and couldn’t do enough to help with planning transportation or suggestions on places to go. Avoid the sea view rooms, super tiny and not very well laid out. I ended up moving to a room by the quiet pool which I absolutely loved more. The breakfast Buffett is wonderful. (Get the fresh Greek yogurt and local honey). The fitness facility was outdated and lacking but you can probably work with what they have in there. If you’re looking for a great experience, I highly suggest the private jeep tour of the villages, you see so much.

I can't way enough wonderful things about this hotel. Once we got our room situated to a little more private one with a private pool overlooking the ocean, we were thrilled. We were steps from the dining area and the beach and pool. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL, with Evan (the hote manager) making sure we were happy with our room to lovely Elena who coordinated anything we needed or wanted. This is about 10 min from the Old town in Chania) which is lovely by the water. The little town wrapped around the harbor is lovely and the restuarants are plentiful and so good. It is very charming. But our experience at the Noruz was just magical. I think the ease of it all made it perfect for us to just chill. The setting is gorgeous and the sunsets to die for. The room was not a "suite" but we loved our outdoor area with a pool. They have an outdoor/indoor gym, a spa, and they will arrange anything for you in the way of tours, etc. We highly recommend this hotel and loved it. The dining is very good and service was great. There is a little "private" room for VIP where you can get snacks/drinks all throughout the day. We loved it here!

I waffled with what to give this one. The pros are the property itself: amazing beach with perfect sand/blue water, lounge and get snacks/drinks with literally the press of a button, 10/10 staff, breakfast was wonderful and deviated its buffet every day. The room itself was not for me and I wouldn’t go back because of it. I went with a friend and we got a porthole in the shower and a sink in the center of the room (not the bathroom). If someone gets up in the middle of the night, you need to bother the other person to wash your hands. The outside with the lounge pool was nice, but it didn’t feel functional and I would have wanted more room space. There was a core ball in our room that seemed to just be clutter. I saw others ask to remove the gym equipment from the small room; other friends threw it in the outdoor tub. The room itself was giving Moxy vibes, not five star. 20 minutes from Chania - they easily call a taxi for you and give you restaurant recs. Concierge was awesome. My issue really was with the room itself, everything/everyone else is great,
