Whether traveling on business or for pure indulgent R&R, Zero George delivers Charleston’s premier boutique hotel experience. Named after our actual street address, Zero George is comprised of sixteen lush guest rooms and studios in three painstakingly restored historic residences and two brick carriage houses that surround our private garden courtyard. We’ve infused it all with a sense of intimacy and warm personality, honoring the buildings’ solid 1804 bones and graceful architecture with measured, timeless design.

Romantic Charleston stay
Loved the hotel, small intimate very friendly and yet very Euro chic. Great wine and cheese in the evening and complementary breakfast. They even got me gluten free crackers.

Dreamy Gas Lanterns & Southern Charm
We visited Fort Sumter, Historic District, the Old Market, Rays Barbecue-no shortage of history or beauty! Be sure to hit Waterfront Park to see the Pineapple Park and a harbor side view that might include graceful dolphins and exotic birds.

Return to Zero
I had the opportunity due to a late cancellation to stay a few nights at Zero George. Fully booked out normally I got lucky. Room 6 this time . Very classic and even overlooking the quiet street ... heaven. Staff welcoming and efficient . Ground Zero is a happy place to be.

Favorite place to stay
We enjoy the quiet with lots of outdoor space to relax with a glass of wine. Make sure to be there for the 5 o'clock wine and nibbles. If someone can't maneuver stairs, this is NOT THE PLACE!. The registration is on a second level with extremely steep stairs.
