Shanti Maurice, A Nira Resort

A beautiful resort for those seeking peace and tranquility. One thing that really stands out is the cleanliness. The hotel is extremely clean and offers an excellent service. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, and the pool was cleaned every morning. Especially our butler, Amal, made our stay even more unforgettable. He was very competent, friendly, and straightforward.

Fourth time we visited Shanti,all that i can say i have never been disappointed. This hotel has always amazed me. I’m extremely satisfied with the services provided by butler Sandy. it’s hospitality, cleanliness & well mannered staffs They go beyond and above to meet your expectation…. The spa treatments are just mind blowing….. Especially Sheila the therapist with magical hands she is such a gentle and amazing woman…. She knows so well what your body is looking for…. She made you so beautiful with her positivity in herself and her good work that after the treatment you received you feel speechless…. Highly recommended Sheila for the ritual treatments… We look forward to see you all again as soon as possible

The location of the resort is very nice. On the booking platform and also on the promotional leaflets, the beach looks without rocks or only slightly rocky. However, the reality is completely different. We bought a Beachfront Villa all inclusive, but it was not possible to swim in front of the villa because of rocks (our expectations were not met). There were tourists with different packages in the resort (breakfast only, half board, full board, all inclusive), which in our opinion is not quite suitable, because for others there were different restrictions and for us with our package the food and drinks were not enough flexible available. Compared to other All inclusive destinations, it did not meet our expectations. The staff was mostly nice and supportive. If we ever return, it would be primarily because of the butler Amal, who was very helpful, very empathetic, very attentive, very responsive, provided top service, everything to make us feel fantastic. We also want to thank the young waitress Eudoniat, who was very nice and one of the best fom the restaurant staff. And of course the very top SPA.

I was at Shanti Maurice for an Ayurveda treatment plan, and it was an incredible time. This is not my first time at Shanti Maurice; it is a place for taking stock of where I am, what my body and soul need, and what changes need to happen for my daily routine. Dr Avinash Tiwari was responsive to my queries and tailored the programme according to my needs. The exercise programme was excellent and the one-to-one sessions helped me identify what needed to be corrected in my body posture and in my exercise routine. Deepak and Priyaka are incredible teachers. The massages were excellent for the body and tailored per the treatment plan and the massage therapists were professional, intuitive, and hard-working. The reception staff at the spa were very attentive to me and the other guests. Dr Tiwari was following up daily so that the plan was followed through and adapted if necessary as we went along. Overall, Ayurveda treatment at Shanti Maurice is highly recommended!

We stayed here for a week after having stayed in the north of the island, we used both locations as bases to explore from. This hotel, its location and its staff are all exceptional. We had a really well located room, right on the beach. The room was large with a very well appointed bathroom - the outdoor shower was great fun. For those from the UK; the rooms are generously equipped with UK standard 3-pin sockets - no need for converters. The main restaurant, Stars is the primary place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast catered to most cuisines - it was great to experience the variety (the fresh bread was superb). At dinner there was a choice from half a dozen menus which was not something we've experienced before. Each cuisine had its own chef and the results were exceptional, also a great way to explore different countries food. Fabulous as this hotel is, don't forget to explore the area, there are fabulous walks in both directions from the hotel and there is easy access to many places of interest in the south of the island. We had the most amazing, relaxing time here and would return in a heartbeat
