In a destination as dreamy as they come, Shanti Maurice, A Nira Resort makes the island of Mauritius even more enchanting. The property itself is 36 acres, situated between sugarcane fields and powder-soft white sand beach, with the brilliant blue waters of the Indian Ocean stretching as far as the eye can see. In a place as sublime and exotic as this, Shanti Maurice is a perfect haven, providing the kind of quality and comfort that such a spectacular vacation deserves. When it comes to your accommodations, there are no rooms here - only suites and villas, of course, and every one is magazine-spread worthy. All face the ocean, with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors to bring the bright outdoors in. Furthering the integration with nature, large balconies or patios and stone-lined outdoor rain showers add elements of pleasure and ideal places to relax in peace and private. Despite your far-flung locale, you will be ever still connected with internet access, DVD players, and high definition televisions throughout. Whether you choose to shut off connection to the outside world, or relish in some free time and entertainment, Shanti Maurice is ready to help you do it all in style.

Every aspect of the trip went well. Except, I had to return earlier due to ilness. Staff members are friendly, professional and efficient. The Ocean View Pool Villa is worth every MUR. I have visited Mauritius ten times; this was my 4th visit to the Shanti resort; the reason is rather obvious.

Had an amazing time with my family from start to finish . Felt very sad to leave the most amazing family resort and the loveliest hospitality! Anything and everything was taken care of , we were thoroughly spoilt by our very sweet personal butler, Amal .. People are just so nice and kind there , always willing to help ! Will definitely visit again sometime soon :)

We had a great time at this resort. All the staff were friendly especially Leo Cadine. The restaurants are varied and we enjoyed the Mauritian cuisine with a variety of dishes. The atmosphere is magical and the waves are beautiful. I will definitely visit again.

We have had a wonderful stay here and today I had a Shanti body massage in the beautiful Spa. My therapist was Shelia, who was just fantastic. My lower back has been sore from too much gardening in uk so I was a little tentative, however Sheila’s professionalism and knowledge relaxed me and I soon drifted away as she used hot poultices and hot stones in a gorgeous spa room , I finished off with a manicure and that too was perfect. I have to say Shelia is a great person , very talented at what she does and I had to comment on her amazing makeup that she wears! So she told me she also loves making people up, next time I come I will be booking in with her without a doubt! Thankyou

Shanti is literally a paradise. I spent around three weeks there and did an Ayurveda program, which was simply outstanding. I felt very welcome from the first moment, and the calmness of the atmosphere in the Shanti Spa immediately transferred to me. I greatly appreciated and enjoyed the tailored program. The combination with yoga, fitness, meditation and - last but way not least - the culinary program made it a perfect experience. The Spa Team around Dr. Avinash really knows how true wellness works! The staff in general and across all different functions is extremely friendly and supportive. The place is wonderful, rooms are nice, restaurants are great and the food is outstanding. In summary, my expectations were exceeded in every way and I highly recommend the place for a stay!
