Excellent Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Been to Chiang Mai many times… First time staying at the Centara. The staff is friendly, professional, helpful, thoughtful, and works very hard. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The showers were nice and hot. Because I attended a conference here… I ate breakfast and lunch every day for four days. Excellent food. The only recommendation I would make is during lunchtime open up the tea and coffee machines. Thanks for a job well done.

Great hospitality!

The hospitality of the staff is excellent, always kind and helpful. Room was spacious and housekeeping was great. Great breakfast with a wide variety. Another plus is the location with easy access to ride share or even a nice walk to the markets.

Chaing Mai Gem

Wonderful comfortable hotel in Chiang Mai. We stayed four nights and were thrilled to be upgraded to a large corner room with great views. It is a little way from the old town but an easy tuk tuk ride. The staff were excellent. A special mention to Alex and June who both went out of their way to welcome us. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great stay.

Pillow ok but at restaurant could not have calamari and no red wine sauce to go with the salmon and another thing that i can't remember. But the staff was always very nice particularly khun Lek and khun Milk who are very efficient the workaholic type extremely pleasent. Two exceptional employees.

A Good Place for Study Week.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

I like this hotel. I come here a couple times a year for a work week, in a Junior King Suite, which is perfect for a work and study week. Some of the extras could be improved, like the gym and shower area, and the breakfast could have bacon (which several western visitors have mentioned before) but it's a good deal for me. You are a little away from the old town, so I work in the mornings and evenings, and take a lunch break into town for say, a dental appointment, shop at Decathon, get a cheap delicious lunch at one of the main temples. The hospital across the street, Rajavej, offers the best deal on an executive physical you will get anywhere!!
