Fairmont Chicago’s new design catapulted it to the top of hotel options in The Loop, Chicago’s business and theater district that’s home to many of the city’s cultural attractions. Past an opulent gold-hued lobby awaits a collection of guest rooms dressed in a natural color palette of cream, chocolate and mossy green highlighted by a bold floral print from Warwick Orme. Marble baths come with a separate rainfall shower and soaking tub, and for further relaxation, the spa offers couples’ soaks in a sumptuous suite.

We chose this hotel because we have found Fairmont properties (our home base is the iconic Fairmont San Francisco) are consistent with cleanliness, aesthetics and service. The Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park is in the perfect location- walkable to museums, the river, the magnificent mile and more. The staff is what makes this hotel top notch. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and treated us like family. If there was an issue- it was immediately resolved. Definitely upgrade to Fairmont Gold. The rooms are updated and the lounge access has gorgeous views of the city. The lounge breakfast and bites throughout the day are great.

We are regular visitors to Chicago for work, and always end up in a different hotel, so have broad experience of the local offer. Fairmont is one of the best we have stayed in for comfort and location. Good sized rooms are complemented by excellent (although expensive) mini bar and snacks, and all the usual facilities you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. We had a comfy bed, clean room and were able to access lots of Chicago's highlights within 15 minutes on foot. We didn't try the restaurant or neighbouring gym/spa, so can't comment on those! We'd happily stay again.

The location is unbeatable, with stunning views of Grant and Millennium Parks. Our room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after busy days. We enjoyed morning coffee at the Lobby Bar and indulged in delicious Latin cuisine at Toro. The Leaf Spa was a delightful escape, offering a much-needed break from our meetings. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is a top choice in Chicago!

We had a lovely but Cold visit to Chicago! February 14th cold in the windy city??? The Fairmont was great, from the doormen to the check in and the maids everyone was helpful and friendly. An special thanks to the concierge Gail Walker who got us a great table at a great restaurant on Valentines Day! After they already told us it was fully booked!!! The hotel is in a Great location with wonderful views from our room. Thanks for a great blustery get away!

As a first time visitor to both Chicago and Fairmont in the US, I must say that Fairmont Chicago and the staff were well worth the visit! Staff: Especially Gail via correspondence and welcome letter, Mevut (sorry if I misspelled his name) and their colleague in the Gold Lounge on Saturday February 8th (whose name I unfortunately forgot), were lovely and made the stay and everything in advance a consistently strong experience! Room: The room was pleasantly temperate. The beds were good and the room well looked after. It had everything and more of amenities and functionality. Room type was 2X Twin Bed with Lounge Access. More than big enough for 2 adults. Breakfast / Lounge: The breakfast in the Lounge was very good, and although the Lounge was small it was quiet, comfortable and had what you needed! Location: The hotel's location is very good when the goal is to see as much of Downtown as possible in a short time. Located close to the Park, the Bean? and the Magnificent Mile but at the south end makes for a great starting point to explore and move around Restaurant: The restaurant (Toro)'s food was excellent (Thank you so much for the recommendation Gail) and is worth a visit if you are not nervous about your wallet! ALL Status recogniton: I experienced that the hotel looked after me and acknowledge my status as Platinum. I got a nice welcome gift upon arrival and a personal letter from Gail which was very kind and thoughtful! Thank you very much 😊 Other feedback: The only "improvement point" is that I wish there was more bottled/carton water, and a menu that indicated prices for the minibar and snack-bar in the room (Maybe I'm a bit absent-minded about that, but the prices and terms there were a bit unclear to me). In summary: Unfortunately I only had a short stay, but I can safely say that I would happily stay here again.
