PUBLIC Chicago is a complete transformation of the Gold Coast's famed Ambassador East Hotel and its historic Pump Room restaurant. Rich with a cultural heritage that spans decades, the hotel and the Pump Room was a place to see and be seen and played host to a multitude of celebrities and people from all over the world and all walks of life. A reinvented and reimagined hotel and Pump Room with a new food concept by James Beard award winning chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, will continue to be the fashionable spot it was originally envisioned to be, for an eclectic mix of people who come together to socialize and dine as they have for past decades. Best place to wine and dine
Armani is the best bartender in the game! He is understand service and delivers. If you need anything, he will make it happen. This is my first time at this bar/hotel and I will 100% recommend this to friends and family! The decor and presentation is top tier!

Regular at Ambassador Room
Iconic Chicago institution incredible atmosphere and amazing service with great food and drinks. Armani is the man. This place attracts the cream of the crop and doesn’t settle on anything less. I love Ambassador Room and all the staff. The best.

Armani was amazing - made it fun being here like I was back in the pump room back in the day. Only here for the weekend but great location...great location if you want to be in Gold Coast but a bit out of the craziness. So walkable to everything and the bartender (Armani) kept me out way too late
