Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile

The stafff is rude and is not concerned with anything but collecting money. I pre- paid on Delta Vacations and I called the front desk on on the day of the visit. I was on hold several times for the equivalent of 50 miles of driving in traffic towards Chicago . According to Delta vacations I was to have a premium room . When I called to confirm that I would have 2 beds I also requested that I needed a feather free room . It was hard to hear the front desk guy but I do believe he said I was all set . I wanted to make sure he heard I was deathly allergic to feathers. I checked in and when i arrived in the room Inwas unsure but they had defeathered the room . I called down stairs and arranged to get a feather free comforter. They did not mention that the pillows were also filled with feathers . They brought up an old smelly blanket that is similar to the blankets that the homeless must use on the streets of Chicago. I went on the internet right before I went to sleep and I went

Excellent stay with great service over the holidays. Relaxing with no issues. Convenient restauranrts and transportation.

We stayed there for a CONGRESS and was very confortable as expected. Great area, nice restaurants and nicest beds.

We completley enjoyed our week long stay at the Sofitel. Everything we requested or asked for assistance with was met with a smile from every associate working here. From check-in to housekeeping to outdoor car assist to staff in the restaurant on site, everything was 10+ star service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location in a high rise luxury hotel. We stayed on the 31st floor - MAGNIFICENT view - could not love our room more.

Most beautiful hotel in downtown Chicago very close to a lot of food restaurants and stores we stayed on the 25th floor view was amazing and boyfriend of 6 months propose to me on my birthday. This is beautiful and amazing relaxing luxury suite.
