TERRIBLE HOTEL!
No running water for the shower Dirty carpet Smells in the hallways Every time I called the front desk it would go back to the beginning messaging center or disconnect me. Sad, this hotel used to be one of my favorites in Chicago. Best Western took it over and it is now a horrible hotel!

Friendly and Historic Boutique Hotel in the heart of Downtown Chicago
The rooms were very spacious, teh beds were comfy and we felt welcomed! The best part of staying at this property was the staff!!! Francine, Logan, Allison and Ernesto were always so welcoming and gracious. We were super close to everything we wanted to do and it felt good coming back to hang out at our room and watch tv and order food!

I’m not the type to write reviews at all but this place really deserved my first review. Just wanted to say the stay here was amazing, the location is amazing, and shoutout Mrs. Cheryl and shoutout the staff here they really made my first trip to Chicago memorable. Hands down the best experience all thanks to them!

Great experience
The hotel location is convenient that you can go anywhere from the hotel. Room is very clean and neat. The front desk receptionist Cheryl is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay while in Chicago at this hotel and would recommend this hotel to my family and friend.

Perfection!
Decided to spend a night in Chicago at the Whitehall Hotel to celebrate Valentine’s day. The Whitehall did not disappoint! From the well-appointed rooms, the beautiful bay window overlooking the city to the luxurious bedding and comfy bed, we were in love at first sight! Top that off with the I Love You package that included Wine, 2 delicious desserts in the room, breakfast for two and a late checkout and you have yourself PERFECTION! (oops! almost forgot the incredibly friendly staff. Alex, Cheryl, Felicia and Jose to name just a few)

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The Whitehall Hotel in March. The property is lovely with an Old World charm, and the food is wonderful. We were treated well by every employee, from the desk clerks to the waiters. We have already booked another weekend and cannot wait to return!.
