The Whitehall Hotel

Great service, clean rooms, quiet neighborhood. Will visit again. First time in Chicago and so happy I stayed at the Whitehall. It was close to everything. The only thing is the hot water could have been a little hotter and have a microwave in the room.

I had a wonderful experience at The Whitehall Hotel during my recent trip to Chicago. The location was perfect for our family getaway, being close to downtown attractions and transportation options. The room was clean and spacious, with top-quality amenities like blackout curtains and a comfortable bed. While there was no coffee pot in the room, the electric water warmer provided a convenient way to make coffee or tea. The staff was friendly and helpful, guiding us to nearby attractions. Although the hotel is older, the decor was modern and well-maintained. The only downside was the lack of breakfast options and limited restaurant selection on-site. Overall, I would definitely stay at The Whitehall Hotel again and highly recommend it for its great location, comfort, and fair pricing.

We stayed here before, in 2017 - it's a great location for what we want to do. In the interim the place has become a little tired - rooms could do with refreshing and some of the furniture and fittings are looking shabby. But it remains a good location, and the beds are REALLY comfortable ....

Bad experience I was with my family for almost a week they told us that the room was cleaned every 3rd day, throughout our stay they did not clean the room! Even when we request it at the front desk, it is very unpleasant to arrive at the room and find it as you left it… dirty and old rooms, although the location is good, it is not worth what it costs! we don't come back

The room was beautiful, large, and quiet. Housekeeeping were kept nd and helpful and Cheryl was the best! She helped me extend my stay and was so helpful when I left my computer behind after checkout. She really eased my mind and helped me so much
