Situated on the banks of Peru's Colca River, Aranwa Pueblito Encantado del Colca is a tranquil oasis rich in colonial Andean traditions and the legends of the region. The majesty of the Andes Mountains stretches out beyond the immaculate low-rise layout of the property, where 32 deluxe rooms, 3 suites, and 6 chalets offer unprecedented luxury. The Spanish-style layout of Encantado del Colca is blanketed with the aromatic flora of the region, and meandering stone walkways leading to a world-class spa, business center, and acclaimed eatery El Molino. Simple and sophisticated in design, the expansive accommodations at Encantado del Colca are flooded with natural light and offer breathtaking views of the mountains, the stunning grounds, or the river. Private and intimate, nuances of soft whites and rich brown hues create a romantic yet earthy feel in the rooms. Lavish bathrooms are an en-suite spa treat with deep soaking tubs, exquisitely postmodern fixtures, and plush bathrobes and towels to enhance the experience.

While the hotel is set in a beautify location and is breath-taking, we also suffered the same issue as another traveler in 2024 - theft from our room. In our case, we caught the person red-handed - a hotel house-keeper who we marched to reception. After viewing CCTV, the manager - Ana Sanchez - would not call the police and indeed has stone - walled us ever since. She promised to email us after her investigation was complete (we had to leave to join the rest of our tour) but she never did and despite several emails, she has still not responded to us. The traveller in 2024 is correct - this hotel does not take responsibility for its staff's actions and treats guests appallingly. I would warn anyone being booked into this hotel by their tour company or thinking of booking that this is a hotel that does not actually care - whatever the manger says in her comments on Trip Advisor - do not believe her! We are not out of pocket as insurance will not pay without a police report or hotel confirmation. Either the hotel does not care about theft from guests or is part of the scam. Do not be fooled!

Jose Quispe was absolutely the best! Definitely made our experience so much more enjoyable. He was kind and very knowledgeable of the area. We enjoyed our stay very much! The hotel is clean and well kept. The outdoor areas are very nice with lots of plants and plenty things to do

A Beautiful hotel designed as a village where each room is a small house. The valley is verdant and green and steeped in Inca history. The hotel has good local food and an international menu. The facilities are superb my favourite the fire pit. Don’t forget to get up at 5 to see the CONDORS

I had a great massage from Bricet, very relaxing! I got the “disconnection” massage, which is the most gentle of the 3 offered, but it still worked well for me. It was nice to relax after many days of touring Peru, and lots of walking. The spa itself was also very clean and quiet.

I had a best massage with Bianca. Before coming to Aranwa Colac I had massages at couple of places in Peru. Bianca by far was the best. She knew her massage techniques well and was professional. My chronic lower back soreness was gone and I felt fantastic after the massage. Thank you Bianca. You were the best.
