Surrounded by natural bushland, Joondalup Resort lies just 20 minutes from the vibrant city of Perth on Australia's southwest coast. Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed its unforgettable 27-hole golf course, which winds through old quarries, lakes and dunes. All of the guestrooms and suites feature balconies or verandahs, and many overlook this beautiful landscape, as well as the lagoon-style swimming pool. Casual "down under" sophistication is a way of life here, and you'll enjoy unforgettable Aussie hospitality at the friendly Bistro 38 and relaxed Kangaroo Arms English pub.

An absolutely terrible place. Save your money. Run down by a bad management from the different cultures. Noone should stay here. The receptionist and the management are totally unprofessional. The time and money i will never get back, and i could have stay somewhere else.

Golf facilities and gardens in great shape. Room was tired and needed a refurbishment. Water in the bath was not hot. Safe was locked open. Room key didn’t work to access gym. Not huge problems but all took valuable holiday time waiting to fix.

Great place now. They have really got their act together. The new chef is brilliant and love his food. We went for a family birthday diner and the food was so good. We stopped eating at the resort as it really was not good a couple of years ago it has turned itself around now. The staff were so helpful cannot fault the place now well done to the resort...

Delusions of grandeur is the best description for the accommodation at this 'resort' certainly NOT 4* as suggested by Google. See the photos of Rusting taps, broken tiles, Cracked sanitary ware, Mouldy & flaking paint and general Poor quality maintenance. I have no doubt the golf course is the highlight, and looking at their website, accommodation comes well down the list! The two rooms we were given were very tired, and the result of them not admitting to their own booking mistake, trying to blame Booking.com for an email the resort had sent us confirming our booking! Having booked a room with garden view, we were given one with a carpark view, with no outdoor seating and then change the following day to a ground floor unit looking out towards the club house, with a tiny outdoor seating area. This is a wedding venue, and I guess we were out in the first room as a wedding party took precedence! We went for a dip in the pool to find it was very dirty, with a scum around the edge that was probably weeks old. We did not go back in. The area around the pool has recliners & brollies and on our visit a waist bin had been emptied out by the local crows and its contents strewn around. The staff totally ignored it. The staff were friendly and helpful if a little disorganised. The best part of this stay was checking out.

Food was really good. Service was great too Much better than it was a couple of years ago. The new Chef is so much better Had a family dinner and could not find any fault with anything. We stopped going to the resort as it really went down hill. They have done a great job getting back on track
