There is much to recommend about this hotel. Service is first class, the breakfast is amazing and the lobby bar area is incredibly welcoming and a fun people watching spot. Location is a plus and minus - across the street from the train station, which is great for that, but it's a good 10-15 minute walk to more bustling restaurant friendly areas. Also right across from Tivoli, which was closed when we were there. The rooms are very Scandinavian i.e. small, especially the bathroom. The thermal heated lap pool is a great amenity. Gym is OK, on the small side.

Amazing hotel, from the moment you check in to the checkout process, which was seamless as well. The employees are genuinely nice and want to help you make your stay comfortable. The lobby is humming with beautiful people sitting around having a drink, and DJ in the evenings, great gym, amazing heated pool with sauna, big breakfast with everything you can think of on the menu, comfortable room and nice touches like robes. I loved that the elevator worked only with your key card, that the workout machines were all state of the art with on demand classes like Peloton type, that room service burger was better than the one we ate outside and that bikes were $20 rental the whole day. Hotel arranged Tivoli Garden tickets for us so we didn't need to stand in line, called us taxi, and provided directions. It is also about 200 meters from the train and 500 meters from where you take the tour to Sweeden on a bus. Great restaurants nearby like Bloom and Marble and of course, the shopping area is just down the street to the left, about a 10 min walk. All in all a true grand hotel.

Gorgeous hotel, perfect location next to the main station, ideal for walking into the city, into Tivoli or towards the Meatpacking District. Absolutely wonderful staff at all levels, and one of the best breakfasts ever enjoyed in a hotel. Villa Copenhagen is part of Amex's Platinum Card "Fine Hotels & Resorts" offers which makes it extremely good value for such a luxury hotel. The Kontrast brasserie/restaurant is pricey, especially if one likes to enjoy a few glasses of wine – but that's a general thing in most of Scandinavia; but the quality is good and the Amex offer made it all very much worthwhile. Will definitely return to this hotel on a next visit, and will for sure take our swimming suits as the outdoor pool looked very tempting even late October.

The Villa Copenhagen was first class from start to finish. Every person we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Our room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was so good I ate too much every day! We enjoyed drinks in the bar and found the atmosphere of the entire hotel extremely pleasant.

Wonderful hotel…perfect location out of main area. Room small but perfectly thought through. Used hotel bikes to get about one day (excellent) Pool in the evening in November is a MUST. Everything from breakfast to reception and bar staff. Spotlessly clean. Will be back
