A new favorite
I was surprised how much I liked this hotel, starting with the reception staff who were all excellent, warm and attentive. Though I thought I'd try out a second hotel during my time in Cork, I ended up extending my stay here instead. The room was spacious and clean, had a really comfortable bed and a large floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the river. I'm a sucker for a view, so when I needed to work on my laptop, instead of using the desk, I used one of the comfy chairs, turned to face that window! There are also small side windows that open, and I appreciated the fresh air. There's a charming lobby bar with seating by a modern fireplace. It's an easy 5-minute walk into town (and The English Market full of restaurants, bakeries, a juice place, etc—I highly recommend the vegan cafe, "My Goodness"). One thing I missed but will include on my return is the gym next door that's open to guests, with a jacuzzi and sauna & steam room.

The hotel was very nice, room clean and the views to the river beautiful, also I have to mention Titas cocktails were absolutely fabulous! Meghan service was exceptional and she was very kind to us! Thank you again it was a very good experience!

Turned a disaster into a memorable and lovely experience
The BEST customer service I have EVER experienced. From the arrival to the front desk (at 1am after a botched flight and lengthy ridiculous delays and reschedule) to help with things in the room (I am from the States and things are different to what i am used to lol), to the most excellent room service by Scawek, the night room service manager. He was beyond excellent. Kudos to Scawek and the entire night crew in making what was a terrible experience with RyanAir, to a memorable and for more than tolerable one. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, all of you at River Lee, especially Scawek. You all deserve a raise and a toast! Blessings to you!

Hotel is top class food in bar is very good and the rooms are very clean.. hotel bar is nice also and staff good
