The River Lee

We stayed here for one night, the free upgrade was really appreciated! The staff of this hotel are amazing, the food in the Grill Room was 5 star. The breakfast was faultless. The hotel itself is beautiful. We will most definitely be coming back!!

Went for graduation meal with our daughter…place was packed on a Monday night! Food absolutely divine, cocktails sublime, staff really were top class. Toilets in foyer unfortunately not good hence the 4 stars. Should be five as it’s a classy place 💕

Here’s a refined version of your review: I recently stayed at The River Lee Hotel, and Megan Murphy, one of the staff members, truly made my visit special.. Originally from Cork, I enjoyed sharing stories with Megan about life in the city, both past and present. She is warm, engaging, and an absolute pleasure to talk to. Beyond that, Megan’s professionalism and dedication shine through—she is undoubtedly a tremendous asset to The River Lee Hotel. I wish her every success in her role and look forward to the chance of meeting her again on my next trip to Cork.

I just have to share the incredible experience I had at this wonderful hotel! Not only is it perfectly clean and comfortable, but the staff and management are some of the kindest and most professional people I have come across in my travels! I visit Cork two times a year and I will always stay at the River Lee! The people I recall that were so excellent are servers Pat, Glenda, Lydia, Sabrina, Maite, Tommaso, Jordi, Rhys, Jhoel, Nigel, Chloe, and Kosta (wonderful leader)! Also, I would like to acknowledge the bar/restaurant staff including Fleur, Leah, Camilla (leader), and hotel management Kevin, Ruairi, and Maiki! I was treated by all of them as though I was their only guest!

Great hotel with professional staff. Amazing food in bar and grill room. Kids loved glass elevators and the views of the city. Pool, underground parking, great room. We had great weekend and will be back again
