We stayed at the Faloria Mountain Spa Resort in Cortina d’Ampezzo for a week and it was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the warm and professional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. All our requests were accommodated seamlessly. The staff at Faloria is outstanding, and Massimo deserves a special mention. He remembered our breakfast order every morning, ensuring our favorites were ready—especially the delicious walnut tart, which he kindly set aside for me. His attentiveness and genuine care made us feel like valued guests, and he is truly an asset to the Faloria team. The hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness throughout. Our room was spotless upon arrival, with fresh linens, a well-kept bathroom, and a tidy overall presentation. The common areas, including the spa and restaurant, were also meticulously maintained, adding to the sense of luxury. We booked a Premium Room, and while it was beautifully designed, we did find it a bit cramped for a premium category. The bed was very comfortable, with quality linens and supportive pillows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom was stunning, with a spa-like design, excellent water pressure, and luxurious toiletries. However, one minor issue was the large patio umbrella, which partially obstructed the incredible view of the mountains and the 1956 ski jump from our Room 107—making it difficult to capture the perfect photo. While most of the amenities were great, the Wi-Fi wasn’t very reliable, which was frustrating—especially when my husband needed a stable connection for his business meeting. The spa and pool area were an absolute highlight. The indoor pool is fantastic for swimming laps, and the overall wellness facilities provide a truly relaxing escape after a day of skiing. Everything was impeccably maintained, and the atmosphere was pure tranquility. Faloria is not centrally located, but it’s also not too far from the heart of Cortina—a short 7 to 10-minute drive will get you to town. I actually appreciated the slight distance from the center—it made the resort feel more peaceful and secluded, which I loved. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serenity of the alpine setting without the hustle and bustle of town. We dined at the hotel restaurant for two nights, and the food was exceptional. The bean and pasta soup was rich, hearty, and filling, the perfect comfort dish after a long day. And the spaghetti? Absolutely addictive—and that’s coming from someone who isn’t usually a fan of pasta! The restaurant delivers high-quality meals that truly enhance the overall stay. Faloria Mountain Spa Resort offers luxury, comfort, and outstanding service, making it a fantastic choice for those looking for a relaxing stay in Cortina d’Ampezzo. While the room was a bit tight for a premium category, the exceptional hospitality, top-notch spa, and delicious dining made up for it. Highly recommended!

I just left Faloria Hotel with a level of insatisfaction that I can’t even measure. I had the worst treatment in so many ways. I wish I could speak in person but the answer to this demand was a big no and I will have to use some of the previous remaining time of my holidays to write this review. 1 - hotel that seems like a pub. There is a big group that arrived yesterday and the hotel was 100% not prepared to welcome this group AND give the fair treatment to the other guests. The noise was absurd. Really absurd. They were screaming and laughing yesterday and day before yesterday, you can ask the staff of the night, specially the girl in the reception yesterday, and they can confirm. I couldn’t rest in my room. When they checked in the reception seem like a bus station, with barely a place to other guests seat. In the first night I didn’t complain because I tried to be flexible and thought the hotel staff was noticing what happened and someone would address it but no. When I complained yesterday the person in the reception offered me to CHANGE ROOM AT 10pm. How can this possible be comfortable to anyone?! And she said that once I didn’t complain before she didn’t know that this was bothering me. A little bit of sensibility, expected in a 5 starts hotel, would be truly appreciated. Day before yesterday we wanted to eat in the bistro and the answer was the bistro was closed for the group. How come you can only 2 restaurants and 1 is closed because of a group??? The menu was available to eat in the other restaurant but we didn’t want to go in a fancy place, we wanted to have the relax ambience of the bistro and we couldn’t because o this group. The above was enough to already say the hotel really failed in giving us the fair treatment but there was more: - WiFi in the room TERRIBLE, I had to use my 4g all the time. It works for basic things but not to even do a zoom call. - guy in the spa does not speak good English. How I can ask doubts about spa treatments? Chat about this? I didn’t even try. The hotel has the word “spa” in the name but the person in charge can’t communicate deeply with the guests. I don’t understand this. - day before yesterday I went around 8am to ask to the girl in the reception to open the gym for me. She said “the gym only opens at 10am”. I had to tell her that is written in the paper in the entrance of the gym area that guests can request to enter early in the gym, so she opened. She should known this!!! - the room in general is not warm enough, we are in the winter. LASTLY, I wrote an email to the general director with all this issues because I really want a feedback AND NO ONE EVER REPLIED. RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

Overall the hotel is not good enough for the money it costs. Some of the staff are nice and well trained, a lot of them don’t know basic things such possible times to use the gym or coordinates on how to put the water hot in the shower… there was a big group staying in the hotel while we were there, so much noise and the hotel didn’t have any concern about the other guests staying at the same time and how to take care of us while all the noise. The room is very cold based on the outside temperature, 0 degrees. Our parking was outside, which made us freeze every time leaving or going to the car. The property is beautiful and there is a lot of nice staff, but for sure you can find a better place for the amount of money it costs.

Such a lovely hotel with breathtaking views and exceptional service! Everyone is incredibly kind, and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous—every detail feels luxurious. The spa is stunning and offers the perfect space to relax, and the restaurant serves amazing food that completes the experience. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

We had a decent experience at the hotel. However, the hotel is supposed to be a family hotel, but kids aren’t allowed in the pool after 5 PM. They suggest that you can go to a kids club for the kids, but it is unsupervised and does not have appropriate activities for older (5+) kids. The shower was uncomfortable, and the room was not adequate. The shower was so small that you couldn’t wash your hair without smashing your elbows onto the side, a very unpleasant experience. Our room was not modernized, even though the hotel makes it seem like all the rooms are renovated. Overall, the room did not have enough hooks and storage space. We are a family of skiers, we need at least four or five hooks to hang our gear at the end of each day. We had a suite with a second bathroom that had an unusable tub with a hand wand only. This hotel is out of town so you need a shuttle. The shuttle only runs till 8 PM so you have to get a taxi for dinner, sometimes over €50 each way. My suggestion is that the hotel at least run the shuttle until 10 PM. Lastly, the loft is really cool.
