From the moment we arrived and the lovely Fiona checked us in, we knew we were somewhere special. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to Room 240, which was absolutely magnificent, complete with a private balcony and a stunning mountain view. The dining experiences were a massive highlight of our trip. Dinner in The Sally Gap restaurant was superb—a big shout-out to Hollie, who was incredibly attentive and great fun! Breakfast the next morning offered a vast and delicious selection, and Sofi’s warm energy would put a smile on anyone’s face. We also loved spending time on the gorgeous outside terrace at The Sika restaurant overlooking the gardens, where Giulia made us feel so incredibly welcome. The location is great in the picturesque village of Enniskerry, make sure you visit Powerscourt House and Gardens next door!! Overall, our stay was outstanding and we thought great value. It’s the exceptional staff who truly elevate this beautiful place. We can't wait to return!

I checked into the hotel and was really impressed with the room. I stayed in Room 253, which was spacious, beautifully presented, and very comfortable. The only slight downside was that I had to keep the curtains closed because staff members occasionally walked past the window, which reduced the privacy a little. I had breakfast delivered to my room each morning, and the food itself was very nice. However, on the first morning my eggs were cooked incorrectly, despite me clearly circling my choice and writing it in the margin of the order form. I also requested only white toast, but I was given a mixture of white and brown toast on both mornings. The issue with the eggs was corrected, and I simply ate the white toast, but I was surprised that no condiments (such as butter, jam, salt or pepper) were provided with either breakfast. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service was very disappointing. I had accidentally bled on the bed sheets after cutting my arm. A member of housekeeping came to my room at 11am, but I asked if she could return at 12pm as I was just about to leave. When I returned at around 4pm, the room still hadn't been serviced, so I let her know I would be heading out again at 4:30pm and asked if she could come back then. She explained that her break started at 5pm and said she would only have time for a quick clean. When I returned to my room at 2am, I found that the blood-stained sheets had not been changed, and there were no fresh towels. I had no choice but to reuse one of the damp towels I had already used earlier that morning and the previous evening. Overall, while the room itself was excellent, the service did not meet the standard I would expect, particularly given that I paid over €700 for a two-night stay. Sadly, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Not worth the money. Rooms were lovely and so is the hotel but the food left a lot to be desired. Breakfast I would rate a 3/10 and that was for the fruit. Sauasages felt cheap, bacon like cardboard, eggs awful.Had to order toast even though they had toasters at the buffett?? The toast was cold and not really toasted on arrival. To be honest at a 5 star hotel I would expect to be freshly cooked not a buffett. Restaurant over priced for what it is.

The setting is lovely but I wouldn't be a huge fan of the architecture - functional but lacking in charm. It feels like a big US hotel and most of the guests were from the US. Staff are very pleasant and helpful as you would expect in any Irish hotel. Rooms are a decent size. I was a bit taken aback to be abused by another rather unpleasant guest who accused me of queue jumping. The hotel needs a clearer queueing system at reception rather than a free for all. The spa was great though.

A really lovely midweek break. An easy drive of an hour from Dublin airport and a warm welcome. Our room was beautiful, very clean with lovely garden views. Breakfast was tasty and had a huge selection. We dined in Sika and in the Sally Gap, both excellent. Friendly staff and lovely decor made for a memorable stay.
