Reviews for Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel

Difinitely not a 5 Star Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

In our trip to Cusco, this hotel was booked and classified as a luxury hotel by my travel agent - Peru Agency. When we arrived, the room they gave us was at 16 degrees - when asked why it is so cold - the front desk told me that is how they keep the room temp at. Seriously? Three hours later after we had our meal, the room was at 18 degrees! Being so tired from our travel, we had to wear the bath robe and wear our tugue to keep oursleves warm while we lie on the cold bed!!!!. I support the other people who said this is not a 5 star hotel -- the stock photos on their site were choreographed so that the hotel will look nice and glitzy. In reality, it is old and dark and very very dated! The corrdidors of the hotel are cold and are not heated! The floors in the room we were in are creaking at every step. The decor is just tacky and looks like my grandama's place in the 1950s. Because it was originally an old house, there were strange turns and steps that you need to take to get to the room! And obviously, their heating and their thermostat does not work well at all! As a matter of fact, there were other guests complaining about thier room temp when we stood at the front desk. Such a dissapointment. Go book elsewhere!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Cusco

This hotel is so nice. Rooms are amazing and the staff is amazing too. Guido helped us with everything and was so nice to work with. The breakfast is very tasty, and great drinks at the bar. Next time we come to Cusco we will definitely be staying here again.

If you like history and a royal experience

If you are into the style (it's a museum), majestic rooms and grand bathrooms. The shower is amazing. Very nice people. Augusto and Benjamin at the reception and Antonio at the restaurant were very nice, just like anyone else we came in contact with. A little blunder on the airport pick-up, but it was fixed efficiently. Hotel location is fantastic.

Nice place to stay while in Cusco

We stayed at Aranwa for 3 night while in Cusco. We chose this place for its proximity to the plaza de Armas. It was nice to be able to walk to many of the points of interest. Our check in was smooth everyone was super hospitable. We enjoyed the amazing service we received from Antonio every day for breakfast. Perfect place to stay while in Cusco.

My daughter and I stayed it this hotel for a few nights and it was honestly one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in! Highly recommended!! The breakfast spread provided was also very good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Aranwa and we are sure that you will enjoy your stay too!
