After a weekend of unexpected travel hiccups, The Fairmont Dallas turned what could have been a frustrating holiday into an unforgettable experience. Over Easter weekend, I had two separate hotel bookings fall through due to serious AC issues — and in the middle of a particularly humid Dallas stretch, that’s a dealbreaker. What struck me most was how, despite Dallas hotels often sharing similar price points, the experiences they deliver are worlds apart. At one property, the staff fit the viral stereotype of “the employee who couldn’t care less if you lived or died” — indifferent, inattentive, and uninspired. But then I arrived at The Fairmont Dallas, and it was like stepping into a completely different world. The level of service here was, without exaggeration, unparalleled. I’ve stayed at respected, high-end hotels across the country, and yet the Fairmont’s staff raised the bar in ways I didn’t know were possible. Every interaction — from the valet and concierge to the front desk, the voice on the other end of the phone, and the team delivering breakfast — was defined by professionalism, genuine warmth, and an obvious mastery of hospitality. The Fairmont made it clear from the start that their goal wasn’t just to give you a place to stay — they aim to be the only hotel you think of when you travel.

We visited from Finland and had a fantastic time in Dallas! We did AT&T Stadium, tours, museums, as well as taking in 2 Dallas Maverick games (Lakers/Mavs was one of them) and 3 hockey games. All were excellent and exciting experiences. The Fairmont Dallas was provided great ackommodations and was in walking distance to the museums, parks, attractions, the American Airlines Center and grest restaurants as well. But one of the best highlights of our trip was the staff at The Fairmont Dallas. They know how to deliver great service ans make you feel welcome! Kudos to Ron the Bell Captain for always being there for us if we needed anything. With a big smile I might add. Greg, the hotel’s courtesy car driver was excellent and accommodating. But the most memorable person I enjoyed meeting and seeing everyday was the Chef Concierge, Philip Powell. We stayed at the hotel for 8 days and me and my son looked forward to seeing Philip’s smiling face everyday. He has a passion for his profession that i have never seen before! His genuiness makes you feel veey welcome. And as he says, ”we came as guests, and left as friends”! Thank Philip, Ron, Greg for making our trip to Dallas memorable. We will definitely stay at The Fairmont Dallas again because of you!

The entire staff was super friendly and professional. Philip Powell was the absolute best! He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable and we’ll definitely be staying here when we visit Dallas again! Definitely 5 Star treatment!!

They made our wedding night so special! They upgraded our room to a really nice suite, and they had chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us! They also put us in a room with a view of the Perot, where we had our reception! Everyone was so kind and we were so well taken care of! They even brought us a mini fridge up to our room so we could store the food that catering sent us home with!

The Fairmont Dallas has a great location. The rooms are a little bit small. The chief concierge, Philip Powell, and the evening concierge, Thaddeus Darrel Lucas were the best part of the stay. My wife and I have stayed at plenty of hotels across the country and never had service as great as what these two gentlemen provided. If we even had a hint of dissatisfaction, these two gentlemen immediately jumped on it and made it right. Their professionalism and positive attitudes are something seldom seen anymore. If you stay at the Fairmont, Dallas, make sure you talk to these guys because they will make your stay memorable And exceptional.
