The panoramic sea view room is good but of course, the suite is very much better. Our arrival was however disappointing. We arrived late at night (around 10.00 pm) while it was raining. We arrived at the reception but nobody greeted us or even acknowledged our presence although I could see at least four staff at the reception talking amongst themselves until I rudely told them that we have arrived and nobody seems to be bothered. The concierge staff too noticed our arrival but did not even greet us. Although we were taken by buggy to our rooms, there is a distance between the buggy's arrival spot and the way to our room. This was uncovered and consequently, some of us were under the weather as we had to run in the rain to get to our rooms. We tried the restaurant La Maison 1888 on New Year's eve and had a very delightful and pleasant private dining experience with excellent personal service. We also dined at the Japanese Tingara restaurant and tasted an Omakse dinner prepared by Japanese Michelin chef Yoshida. It was again an excellent dining experience and very memorable. Citron restaurant too served good breakfast. Except for our rather disappointing experience upon arrival, the staff in all the restaurants were very attentive, alert and helpful.

We stayed at the Intercontinental Da Nang in December 2024 for the festive season. As seasoned travelers, we highly recommend this property! The setting itself is gorgeous - in the jungle, lush and mysterious, with monkeys running around (not dangerous or threatening to humans) and the sound of crashing surf everywhere. The hotel is built into gorgeous natural setting and exists harmoniously with it, yet doesn't lack any of the modern luxury amenities you might expect. The architecture is a blend of East and West designed by Bill Bensley (search for Bill online - very impressive!), who also has done the interior design of the hotel and has a gallery on the property. Our villa on the Rocks was beautiful, comfortable, and private with its own pool overlooking the water. Housekeeping did an impeccable job every day, and our butler, Hero, was professional,an excellent communicator, always ready with perfect ideas, and capable of securing a La Maison 1888 reservation, spa appointments, and other festivities as needed - Her is all around just a fantastic human being. We enjoyed the hospitality, delicious food and ambiance of the Club Lounge, and are grateful to the wonderful and genuine ladies and gentlemen of the Lounge that made our experience extraordinary. The Long Bar is super fun for afternoon games, including ping pong, billiards, archery, chess and others. They also have a wonderful kids club. The spa is lovely and services top notch. High marks to the General Manager Seif Hamdy, for creating and nurturing a delicate balance of natural beauty, superb service and facilities. We are looking forward to returning!

It wasn’t out first time at the resort, but I had been dreaming of spending Christmas at InterContinental Danang for years - and this holiday, that dream finally came true! The festive atmosphere was truly magical. We counted six uniquely themed Christmas trees, and the reception area felt like stepping into a winter fairytale. The thoughtful touches, like complimentary tea and coffee stations throughout the resort and a free glass of beer for everyone at the Long Bar, added to the experience. A special shoutout to Dylan, who provided outstanding service! Even in December, the heated pools made it possible to enjoy beachside swims while taking in the beautiful Christmas decor. We were also lucky to dine at the newly opened Japanese restaurant, Tingara, where Japanese chefs amazed us with incredible sushi and teppanyaki. Thank you, InterContinental Danang team, for creating a holiday that felt like a dream come true!

I had an unforgettable stay at the InterContinental Danang, and I can honestly say it exceeded all of my expectations. A highlight was the outstanding hospitality at Barefoot Restaurant. The staff, particularly Elly, and Debug, truly made the experience special. They were warm, attentive and went out of their way to ensure every need was met. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Overall, everything was excellent. Highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking a memorable and personalized stay.
