The Seagate Hotel & Spa

There is a good drink service to the rooms with a very nice and kind guy called Paulo. He serves all kind of drinks to the room and during the Christmas was free !!! That is really awesome !! Tequilas, vodka and soft drinks also. Is was a very Merry Christmas

Just finished my 4th stay at the redecorated hotel. No major issues with work in progress, but some serious observations going forward. First, the renovation is charmless and stripped the lobby and other areas of what made this hotel special. There’s no elegance left, sad to say. Looks like a Hyatt bred with a Montauk motel, even if it cost megabucks. Second, greedy pricing decisions about food and (mandatory) service charges. I’ll second the report about $12.50 orange juice bottles. Also $6.50 coffees. Lunch at the beach club now cost $57 for a burger and a salad. No bread basket offered with the salad, which was soggy and pre-dressed. Third, uneven housekeeping, especially for a hotel that purports to operate at this level. We’ve had no turndown service for 3 of 4 nights so far. We shouldn’t have to ask. The staff is still hospitable and eager to please. Sorry it disappoints.

Wonderfully clean, kindness from team on staff at multiple touchpoints - shuttle driver, beach club associates and bartender. I noticed minimal signs of construction - plus for me - fresh renovations that look and feel wonderful. Job well done Seagate team, it must have been tough to run a hotel with active construction simultaneously. Location is optimal.

I was extremely disappointed by my stay at the Seagate hotel this month. My Dyson hair dryer was stolen from my hotel room. I reported this to hotel management who did nothing to rectify the situation. I received no compensation or even an apology. I would not recommend a stay at the hotel and would not feel safe leaving any belongings in my room.

Stayed at The Seagate for 2 nights in mid-December 2024. The renovations look incredible: room is nicely decorated; lobby is warm and welcoming; pool and fitness center are top-notch. Restaurant wasn't open yet, but several fine establishments are nearby The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the in-room amenities (Nespresso machine for the win) along with the evening turn-down service We also visited The Seagate Beach Club. It was a short walk from the hotel. Swam in the ocean and then hung out poolside. Loved it!
