Theresa at the front desk is absolutely spectacular! She is thoughtful and considerate. When I told her about my niece staying at the hotel for her birthday, she went above and beyond to give them the best experience! My husband and I appreciate her kindness! She is personable, warm and everything one would expect for an uptown hotel like the Halcyon. They are very fortunate to have her. She greets the customers with ease and a beautiful smile .

Love staying here! The team is amazing, location great and rooms are perfect. (Teresa at the front desk is particularly great). They’re so accommodating and committed to making sure every guest has a great stay. I stay here all the time and love coming back!

Absolutely the BEST Hotel in Denver. The staff are kind, caring and attentive. The coffee and muffins in the morning are a wonderful touch. Quality Italian restaurant is like being in Italy. Shout out to David Tremain. He is exceptional. We will be back!

Teresa! Is the absolute best costumer service. My mom and I came down for Christmas shopping from Aspen- we always stay at the Halycon but this time we met Teresa and we never experienced service like this before, she spoke to us like a friend and asked questions then we told her we preferred a different room (as we know the rooms from coming so often) she came up to our room, helped us with our bags, then moved us to the better room. Very thankful for her service!!! She is the best & I travel the world!

Our wedding weekend at the Halcyon Hotel in Cherry Creek was marred by unprofessionalism, disorganization, and avoidable stress. While the property appears luxurious, the experience we endured made it clear their service does not match the aesthetic. Unorganized and Inefficient Coordination From the outset, the planning process was riddled with delays and errors. Despite signing a contract well in advance for a room block and suite for bridal preparations, the hotel struggled to provide essential details like a booking link for our guests. It took multiple follow-ups to secure even the simplest of accommodations. Last-Minute Suite Cancellation Two days before the wedding, we discovered that the suite we had reserved for the bridal party was canceled without notice. The suite was crucial for hair, makeup, and preparation. Despite a signed contract confirming the reservation, the hotel initially denied any error. Only after hours of calls did they admit their mistake and offer “The Nest,” a conference room, as a replacement. This space was far from suitable for our needs and caused unnecessary stress right before the big day. Shocking and Unauthorized Charges Post-wedding, we were appalled to discover multiple unauthorized charges. Although "The Nest" was offered as a complimentary replacement, we were billed for its use, including cleaning fees and a food and beverage minimum. Additionally, we were charged attrition fees for room block obligations we had met according to the contract. Months later, these charges remain unresolved, despite repeated attempts to seek refunds. Lack of Accountability The hotel offered a generic apology but failed to take meaningful steps to address their errors. Their dismissive attitude and lack of resolution left us feeling devalued and frustrated during what should have been one of the happiest times of our lives. Final Verdict The Halcyon Hotel may look inviting, but the disorganization, poor communication, and unethical billing practices make it a risky choice for any significant event. For couples or families considering Halcyon for weddings or celebrations, proceed with extreme caution. Document everything and prepare for potential disputes. We trusted the Halcyon with one of the most important weekends of our lives, and they failed us in almost every way. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for a venue that values its customers.
