Luis was the best Server ever! He continued to check on me and kept my drink full at all times. He displayed great customer service and kept a smile on his face no matter how busy he was! Robb was a great bartender, and my cocktails were fabulous! Robb continued to make conversations with his other bar guests, and make them feel wanted in the space! Overall great staff at the Horizons located at the Henderson beach resort! Will be back in the future!!

So I went to the spa on Christmas Eve and had a pedicure. Theresa was so friendly and informative. She knows her stuff for sure, and is very into what is best for the customer. Thank you Theresa. Our whole experience at the Henderson resort was wonderful. Ronn in the Hotizon bar and restaurant was a pleasure to talk to. He is all about the customer and that is always a good thing.

We visited Henderson Beach Resort last Thanksgiving to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Ms. Sharmaine, the staff member who greeted us, was incredibly kind and welcoming. We would love to meet her again during our next visit. However, we had a few issues during our stay. The heating system in our room was broken, which made things uncomfortable, and we had to deal with ants for the entire 3-day, 2-night stay. The food we brought back from the restaurant became infested with ants, and we had to throw it all away. When we reported the issue, all we received was ant spray with instructions to use it ourselves, but no apologies or compensation were offered. Even on the last day, the ants kept coming, and it was extremely frustrating for us.

My husband and I stayed here in a room overlooking the gorgeous Emerald coastline for our Honeymoon. Could not have picked a better spot. Complimentary, all-you-can-drink Starbucks coffee 24/7 on *every floor* which was huge for me since coffee is my emotional support beverage of choice. Loved being there during off season! So quiet and calm. Even with construction taking place near the south edge of the pool area, pools were fantastic. Can’t expect them to do their construction during the busy season, just went with the flow (literally, there’s a lazy river!). There’s also special access to the beach for Henderson guests and cute cafe down the road. Now the staff! So wonderful, so accommodating. If we had even the slightest problem with literally anything, they solved it. They were so sweet sending up a charcuterie board and a s’mores kit for us newlyweds (it was going to be wine but I don’t drink. See? Problem solvers!) Charmaine, Angela, Mia and Bianca were who we interacted with and I would come here again over the hospitality alone. My husband agrees, and he doesn’t like going back to the same spot more than once. Restaurants and bars were also top notch. Great atmospheres, great service, even great mocktails. Definitely check out the rooftop bar while you’re there. I very impatiently await my next trip to Destin!

We ve been to Henderson Resort several times before an we really enjoyed but our last trip would be the last. At first they had a construction going on even on Thanksgiving Day. It was very noisy and workers on the roof screaming in Spanish language all day long. Adult pool was overtaken by screaming children and even 2-3 year old was sitting in jacuzzi wearing pampers. There was no coffee or tea in a lobby after 10 am ( it’s says 24 hours service) . The table in a room is really worn and shaking and Tv did not work , we had to call technician, he fixed next day. To me once high end hotel going down the hill . I did not feel any luxury. Bartender at the bar was eating his dinner by the bar while serving guests..
