Harvey's Sunday lunch use to be our favourite place to go. We would visit at least once every two months. After losing our dad I decided to do Christmas what an awful experience. When we arrived we were greeted a lovely man who gave us Prosecco but also handed our 14 year old a glass. I just explained she was under age no big deal. We were seated at our table and after 20 mins they asked if we wanted soup and drinks to which we said yes. The tables were all on top of each other. Our soup arrived no drinks we went for our starters and I asked the young waiter about our drinks he said he get them. We had to ask 3 more times for our drinks and only got them for our mains not even a jug of water for the table. We had to ask a number of times for salt and pepper only got them as we were leaving. When we went up for our mains there was an non English speaking chef who was rude as I ordered my partners and daughter dinner he asked if wanted all the dinners on the one plate. The roast beef had blood running out of it was disgusting i asked if they had any other beef as my daughter has autism and only eats beef he just looked and me and cut it anyway. The desserts was horrible and there wasn't that many left. When we went to pay we were charged all adults which I didn't mind but the girl refused my daughter a selection box never again will I go back a waste of money and Christmas Day

We had a wonderful few days here. All the staff were fantastic very friendly and so helpful. The food was delicious both in the restaurant and the bar. The lounge had a lovely atmosphere very relaxing. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. This is easily the best hotel that we have stayed in. Top marks!

My Mother and I have just had the most wonderful three night stay at Harvey’s Point over the New Year. A magical setting, extremely peaceful. The Hotel is superb. We would like to thank Eilish for taking care of us as soon as we arrived, followed by Paula, who made checking-in so easy. We felt immediately welcomed and cared for. We would like to thank Geraldine, who took care of us at our first dinner evening, which was sublime. Eliish took care of us every morning, when we arrived for breakfast. The breakfast at Harvey’s Point is stupendous and the view over Lough Eske is truly breathtaking and when then Sun comes out over Lough Eske, you could not ask for more! Our Executive Suite, room 111, was spacious, comfortable and maintained and cleaned to the very highest standards. We particularly appreciated the quietness of our room. Our special thanks goes to Eamonn Gillespie, what a gentleman, a true professional, who made everything possible! Thank you Eammon. The New Year’s Eve Dinner Gala was perfect and great fun. Our experience at Harvey’s Point was exceptional. The best location and welcome we have ever had. Donegal is a magical place with amazing scenery, well worth a visit to this beautiful part of Ireland. Thank you to all the team for the most perfect stay at Harvey’s Point. Victoria and Ann Marie

The Harvey's Point Experience!! My husband and I stayed at Harvey's Point from 23rd to 27th December 2024. I wanted to share our experience as it was simply fantastic. I honestly could not find fault with anything, the staff, the customer service, the rooms, the cuisine was all outstanding. This Christmas break was unbelievable and the welcome and care we received from all of the staff was so heart felt and warming making us feel it was like a home from home. A special thank you to General Manager, Niall Coffey. My husband and I found that Niall had gone above and beyond, making our stay one to remember, a true gentleman! I would also like to highlight Mr Eamon Gillespie (Customer Relations Manager) who has such a natural way and presence about him. Eamon is a very talented singer and he serenaded us with a lovely rendition of 'My Son' on Boxing Day Afternoon, simply amazing!! Many thanks to Niall and all the Management and staff for making our stay so special and we wish them both a Happy and Prosperous New Year for 2025. We cant wait to get back again soon!! Lenore & Sam Hamilton.
