Great service during our stay at poolside! Shan took care of us really well and made sure our needs were met! I would certainly come back here again with service and weather like we had! Overall a fabulous experience and we felt welcomed and looked after!

Excellent hotel, very friendly and great service. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Rooms spacious, staff very attentive, food in Seagrill and Flow restaurants excellent. Breakfast was very good also. From check in to departure hotel is faultless.

I booked this hotel after seeing many positive reviews of other guests experiences and wanted to try out a hotel on the palm for the first time. At first glance, the hotel lobby is beautiful and smelt wonderful. Adel gave us complementary early check in and on request room upgrades. We were upgraded to room 150 and 151. Initially the rooms were great, air con working, bathroom blinds were battered and destroyed the 5 star on the palm luxury feeling but we overlooked that. 3 days into our stay, the tv would constantly turn on itself, despite the remote being in front of the tv and the air con broke. We complained and an engineer came with a hotel member of staff and a manager. The tv connectivity issue was resolved but regarding the tv turning on itself, we were told to simply switch off the tv from the back wall. I wondered why I’d had to do that when there wasn’t “an Issue” with it. I’d asked the manager if it was possible another’s remote had connect with our tv and was told “that’s not possible” but in the new room, my tv showed room 341 when I was in room 339. The ac was indeed broken and they tried to “repair” it. Around 2pm I was told to let the ac cool the room down “for some time” and the manager had said he’d be back to check in on us in case of any further issues. The manager did not come back by 6pm nor did the air con cool the room. We complained again and another engineer turned up around 9:30pm, faffed around with the air con and said to “give it some time” but couldn’t specify if that time was minutes or hours. We had to sleep with no air con again. The night manager was complained to and said he’d contact us by the morning to sort things out. Never did. Nor sent anyone to sort this issue out. Also told us the hotel was trying to arrange for 2 rooms so that our family could stay together instead of prioritising the broken ac room or asking us as the guests what we preferred. We woke up sweating, no ac and complained Friday morning to a new manager. Around 9:30am he said he was arranging 2 rooms for us and that was taking a while. Instead of arranging for 1 imminently that had the problems, they were arranging for 2 and did not even ask us if we both wanted to be moved or not. We were told to pack all of our belongings which we did early morning. Didn’t hear back at 12 and rang down to guest services asking for an update. Then got told it would be around 3pm. 3:30pm rolled round and no contact from reception. So we had to ring down once again. The rooms were finally sorted around 5pm but it took too long. The service was too slow and negligent. I do not recommend this hotel at all. The water would take a while to heat up and in the new rooms we were in, the sink basin had a crack in the side of it as well as the toilet floor tiles. It was appalling. The drain system in the shower was incredibly loud whereas in the original room, the water drained silently. Housekeeping didn’t seem to understand that used robes sat with dirty towels meant they all needed taking out of the room. Instead I’d often find used robes hung up again to be reused. The adult only pool had limited sun loungers which was not good considering how busy Dubai is in November and how busy the hotel was itself. Breakfast options were great but the half board dinner menu was limited with places like Little Miss India charging a hefty supplement charge. During the Saturday Willy Wonka themed brunch, guests were also charged hefty supplement charges which shouldn’t exist especially on the half board package. A holiday that cost almost £8000 did not give the luxury we were expecting and would absolutely never book at Fairmont the palm ever again nor recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Service was excellent, all staff really friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding, in all restaurants within the hotel. Especially Little Miss India, be sure to book well in advance of your stay as it gets booked up. We would definitely stay here again. Hotel really clean and room cleaned twice a day some days .
