Palazzo Versace Dubai

I’ve been there for a relaxing afternoon with a friend. I was amazed by the place: the swimming pool, the dj set, and the staff courtesy. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very chill. I really recommend the place if you want to relax! Hope to be back again!

My wife and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Versace hotel in Dubai. As expected the quality and standard of service was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. I don't usually name individuals but in this case Mo Sala the pool attendant and Manny the Giardino restaurant manager deserve a special mention for their extra attention. We had half board dining so as well as eating breakfast in the buffet restaurant we were also allowed to eat from the 3 course menus In the fine dining Enigma Persian and Vanitas Italian restaurants. We didn't experience 1 bad meal, the quality in all 3 were excellent, and the presentation in the fine dining ones were up to Michelin standard! The bedroom (room 218) was a good size and had it's own private terrace with chairs and sunbeds although we never laid out there due to the suns location. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, there is a coffee machine, a selection of tea bags and always plenty of water. The large TV had plenty of channels with several Arabic channels showing English movies, the only dedicated English channel was BBC world news. The only negative for the room was the tiny single wardrobe with just a few hangers in it. I would recommend you bring a few of your own if there's more than 1 of you. I was concerned before arriving at the hotel that due to it's close proximity to the airport (approx 10 minutes drive away) that we may suffer for alot of aircraft noise. I'm happy to report that this wasn't a problem and you dont notice them. Now, for the main problem with the hotel...its the orientation of the property with regards to to position of the sun throughout the day if you want to sunbathe by the pools (this is for November and may differ though the year). The large central pool with its infinity edge onto the creek doesn't really get any sun throughout the day so is useless. The adults only East pool get the sun from approx 11am to 3pm depending where you sit, but in certain areas these times will be reduced due to the main building shading over it. BUT be prepared to have to listen to incredibly loud chill out music all day and with way too much bass! At the weekend when they get alot of extra local guests staying then it gets even louder to the point of being almost unbearable. This just leaves the west pool which we ended up using as it got the sun most of the day. The only drawback there is this is classed as the children / family pool so you might end up being surrounded with alot of screaming kids! ( luckily this wasn't the case when we were there). So in summary it really is a luxury hotel where you'll be treated like royalty but be aware that you have to "pool-hop" to get a suntan!

WOW - what a special hotel. It is better than expected and to be fair I was expecting alot after years of wanting to visit. The staff are all great. They are very attentive and courteous. They went over and beyond to make our stay amazing, even supplied my partner with a lovely birthday cake! The rooms were clean, very comfortable and have everything you need. Very Versace which we loved. The restaurants at the hotel were great and easy too book the food was fabulous. Breakfast is wonderful such a massive choice ! My favourite area of the hotel was the Amalfi pool area during the day. Sun trap and lovely food and the guys working over there where always about for orders and anything we needed.Even though it was classed as the children’s pool it did not affect us relaxing and enjoying the pool what so ever. We did spend a day at the La Piscina pool and again the food was great, very clean and all staff very helpful.Loved the music very 1990s. Even has a pool bar. There are 3 pools but we only visited the 2. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, airy and just very opulent. Amazing. Thank you to all the staff what a great team !

The furnishings in this hotel are wonderful and make the stay memorable. The basic room was extremely comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. The pool areas are vast and were quiet during our midweek stay. The breakfast excelled anything experienced so far. Staff were attentive, professional and friendly throughout the hotel and particularly in the restaurant, Mosaico. There is construction work close to the property, but this did not detract from our experience.
