Stayed Sat 15th feb- The entrance is a literal building site with a construction lift machine parked in it and hoarding around it, the side entrance was in use instead. The room was small and average, there was no hot water in the shower the twice we used it! The least that is required is hot water! The food and drink in the bar was decent but the breakfast the next morning was very underwhelming, 2/3 star breakfast at most…. 5 or 6 small warming trays left out with dried up food (the white pudding was so dried up i couldn’t cut it!!!) with some empty of content for example the scrambled egg dish was empty and was ages before it was replaced meaning we had already finished out breakfast! The corridor carpet on our room floor (3rd floor) was covered in stains. Other than the staff, who were excellent we can’t see how this could be considered a 5star hotel??

Nice hotel but we were disappointed. I spend 500 euros a night on this hotel and was expecting WOW! It was nice but not worth the money we paid. Room was small, stuffy and had no view and we couldn't get dinner in the restaurant. Next morning there was a queue for breakfast which left us late and we missed our train home. Realistically I would have expected to pay around 300 euros. Room was comfortable, but small and the windows didn't open that far so we found it very stuffy. No view at all except into a building very close, in fact I could read the signage in the building through the window. We went out to do some shopping and when we came back we couldn't even get a table in the bar to eat, so ended up having to go back out again for food....I hate eating in the room. I wish I had booked the Westbury instead. Sorry Fitzwilliam, you have a lovely hotel but it's overrated

Exceptional value, fabulous service . Great location. Right next to Grafton Street, Stephens Green, multitude of pubs/restaurants etc etc. Free upgrade and treated with excellent care by the staff. Well done Fitzwilliam team. Would highly recommend.

We just came back from a stay at the Fitzwilliam. The location is perfect, the hotel is clean and updated, the breakfast was very good, our room was perfect and comfortable, and the staff is probably the nicest staff that we have ever encountered on vacation. This is the prefect choice for your Dublin stay! In addition, the concierge secured a 2 hour walking tour of London for us that was incredible and their pub and dinner recommendations were outstanding.

A really lovely hotel. The staff were welcoming and very good at their jobs. The hotel is undergoing building work, which isn't ideal, but it didn't ruin our stay. The location is perfect, a minute or so away from Grafton Street. The breakfast was excellent, too.
