We had a wonderful stay in The Westbury. From the moment we arrived, greeted by Eddie who was so helpful and friendly, to the turndown service with Maria who did a superb job, everything really was second to none. Beautiful family memories made.

Our favourite hotel in Dublin Location is fabulous and the hotel is so beautifully decorated. The staff at The Westbury are always amazing and so friendly. Every occasion we celebrate at the Westbury on this stay we had lunch in balfes the burrata dish so creamy and fresh Dinner in Wilde again amazing food wine and service. Maria who turned down our beds was so incredibly kind and lovely Eddie who helped us with our bags was so helpful. All the staff were amazing thank you so much we’re back again in August

This was one of a small handful of hotels recommended to us by our private touring agent Kennedy & Carr. We chose The Westbury based on the style and location and it didn’t disappoint. Our room was cozy and quiet with a view across the rooftops of Dublin. Bathroom quite small but shower great. Bathroom was even smaller on visit to London as part of same trip - it’s a European thing. Service from front desk to the lounge and bar is friendly and efficient. Cocktails in Sidecar are amazing. Breakfast wide ranging and delicious. Restaurant Wilde looks good for dinner but we ended up dining out each night. Bruxelles pub just outside is great for a late night pint among locals!

On arrival at the Westbury, with friends that came to visit me from Bali, we were welcomed so very warmly by a chap in a hat, then, I immediately noticed the intimidating security guy standing on the raised section overlooking the entry, staring at us, the intimidating shoulders, the cock of the walk stance speaking into either an earphone or was it his cuff. Probably head of security. Feeling intimidated, I said nothing to my visiting friends, just turned to them and suggested another place for afternoon drinks. This very unpleasant experience happened on 30/12/2024 at about 4pm. A beautiful hotel with fantastic staff ruined by a bully.

Westbury is the perfect central location and we have stayed there several times. Would be nice to see the bedrooms get an upgrade and the bathrooms. As usual the breakfast is very good and Wildes is a lovely restaurant. Balfes is very pricey for what you get. However, there are alternative dining areas situated close by. As a resident there, there is no priority seating if you want to have afternoon tea etc, bit annoying that there is not a residents seating area.
