When owners Shelby and Ron Mitchell acquired the Inn at 202 Dover, they understood the importance of a meticulous renovation. That took place in 2005 under the watchful eye of Eaton’s Historic Commission and the State of Maryland, yielding a new member of the Historic Hotels of America. Each of the five suites is uniquely themed in Victorian style, and many guests comment that they’re bigger than their own apartments. Glasses of sherry await your arrival, and each night turndown service with fresh fruit, chocolates and home-baked cookies pampers guests to slumber.
