We had an amazing first night thanks to the attentiveness of Taylor the bartender. He was eager to impress and welcomed our challenging his drink knowledge. Harbor View is our favorite place on the island for so many reasons, and it’s great to continue adding more.

I recently stayed here with my family. I made the booking through American Express and enjoyed the late check out, breakfast for 2 and the $100 credit. I loved the classic hotel and it was updated with a nod to the nautical without being overstated. The furnishings were lovely- with lots of linen and crisp cottons. I am so glad we came off season- for better rates and no crowds but as a result- the only common area was the lobby ( versus in season when the classic front porch and pool/ patio area would be available) and it often felt a bit overcrowded with a few loud business callers. I wished for a few sitting areas on the landings. There was unexpected work going on the bar area and thus, only one restaurant was available during our stay. I inquired about room service but it was the exact same menu as the restaurant and I wasn’t confident that it would work out based on my request ( via the hotel text string) for wine glasses that never arrived. We had drinks and apps at the restaurant bar. It was a really really nice bar and ambience. We all enjoyed it tremendously. It was a very pleasant stay.

Very, very nice hotel. Old Classic but in impeccable condition. Winter rates are about half price, but still expensive. Restaurant and service is great. Went to see where Mary Jo died, John Belushi's grave and have a lobster roll where Jaws was filmed. Cold and intermittent snow when I was there. Had the front facing Junior Suite. Great view

The Harbor View Hotel is well situated with a nice pool. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were solid. Both bars are great as well and the porch is a nice place to relax, have a drink and take in the view. We plan on staying here again.

Taylor was excellent. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Pours a great glass of champagne. The $1 ice cube is worth it! Food and service top notch. Friendly and prompt. Year round residents with knowledge and kindness. We will be back.
