The room was too hot , even with the fan on , and had a boiler / condenser somewhere near to the room that kicked in hourly throughout the night , the sleep quality in this room due to this was poor. I found a foreign body - part of the food packaging in my breakfast , i made them aware and was not even given an apology. The reception service however was very good.

This is a fantastic hotel situated near edinburgh airport and the park and ride which takes you into the centre of edinburgh on the tram. We stayed here for our daughters birthday and they surprised us with balloons and a gift for her in the room. Our room had so much space and was very modern even with a tv in the bath. We also had a terrace outside our patio doors and we were next to the spa. The spa is fantastic with a great pool. The restaurant was excellent with very tasty food. All the staff were amazing especially the restaurant staff and we would definitely stay here again, to be recommended!

My Partner and I spent a night here with our dog. We visit lots of dog friendly hotels and this one has been one of the best. The Exec Room was spacious and well presented. We were shown to our room by David when we arrived - he was incredibly helpful. Thank you! The spa facilities were excellent - including the jacuzzi! We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but had breakfast which was also super. Will return.

Spent 1 week at this property for a business conference and really enjoyed the location and spa services. Comfortable spacious rooms. Great gym and group classes. Food was excellent with great attention to food restrictions and allergies. Service levels were excellent at the start but property seemed less staffed as the week wore on. Great walks on the property but note it takes about 20 min to get into the city centre

Used pool facilities around 3pm on Tuesday 21st Jan. I was shocked to see one parent lounging by the pool whilst her 3 or 4 children were in the pool themselves and eating sweetie lollipop sticks in the pool! Very unsafe! Didn’t seem too concerned that they were screaming at each other and disputing all other guests experience. Children should not be left in the pool without an adult. Felt sorry for everyone else just trying to swim peacefully. A lovely hotel but some focus required on clientele and behaviour of other guests, a leisure pool with slides and something to keep them entertained would be better - this is meant to be a spa hotel. Didn’t stay long! Such a shame as it has been a favourite of mine in the past and had a membership. A member of staff did come in to test the water, but there doesn’t really seem to be anyone overseeing the pool area, unless this is monitored remotely from the desk.
