High quality stay in old town
Very good location in the old town close to castle. Our room was clean with enough space. Some general parts of the hotel need to be updated. The hotel has different levels and our room was very far from lifts and we needed to use stairs to access. Professional and friendly staff.

Shoutout to Marsden and Cullen
These two gentlemen made my stay special! Marsden greeted us with a chilled Prosecco and went above and beyond by bringing our bags to our room and thoroughly explaining the functions of our room, answering our questions. Cullen at the concierge provided excellent recommendations on where to purchase legitimate Tweed outside of the Royal Mile and specific sites to see in the city for the 48 hours we were visiting. The bed was super comfy, the room was cold just as I liked it, and the in room dining was phenomenal. Anybody visiting Edinburgh must stay here for at least a night.

Definitely worth saying at again and again.
The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The concierge staff is amazing and so responsive to anything we needed. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed, and it was exceptionally clean. I would definitely stay again, and I cannot wait to return.

Luxurious, Stylish and cool virgin vibes - love it!
Really loved staying at the Virgin hotel. The hotel is in a great location, the staff are very welcoming and the hotel is very luxurious and stunning whilst retaining that fun Virgin vibe! We loved it and will be back again :) Also the bed is the comfiest I've ever slept in. I had to lift up the sheets to try and find the brand - it's sooooo good!

Impressive rooms and services with unique experiences located at the heart of the old city. This gave the hotel great contrast to the surroundings and was indeed further enhanced by the interiors. Highly recommended especially for those seeking impressive experiences!
