Great spot
It was a nice little weekend getaway spot. It is very secluded and quiet. I Highly recommend having breakfast at the VAGA restaurant. They offer ocean front yoga in the morning. We picked a room with a firepit and it was super worth it as there's not as much to do in surrounding area.

Romantic ocean front getaway with great breakfasts
Great hotel restaurant (Vaga) that served some of the very best breakfasts among 5-star hotels. Great variety on menu, healthy choices and excellent service. Dinner was also good but not outstanding. We had a room that has wonderful views of both the ocean and the coastline, with tainted floor to ceiling windows that give privacy during the day. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Modern and clean. All equipment in the gym was working. Heated pool of moderate size. The only part I did not like was the compulsory valet parking.

Service and experience
Was here during a work trip. Great customer service and very attentive. Beautiful location and great views from every room. Would highly recommend the Vaga restaurant especially for breakfast. Me and wife have a lot of food sensitivities and they were very accommodating.

Wonderful resort on the wante
The location can't be beat, overlooking the ocean in Encinitas and located between the quaint beach town of Encinitas and the new food destination in Carlsbad. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We did an oceanfront suite and were treated to the first floor which has individual patios with fire pits. In all the Hyatt properties i've been to this had the nicest suites and was close to the Grand Hyatt in Kauai in overall beauty.
