In the beautiful coastal foothills of San Diego, La Costa Resort and Spa is a destination in itself, spectacularly showcasing the best in accommodation, amenities, golf, and recreation in Southern California. Its Carlsbad address makes the resort easily accessible from San Diego or La Jolla, and a simple two-hour drive from Los Angeles. Starting with its accommodations, La Costa Resort and Spa exceeds the standard of luxury, offering guests a lush ambiance, spacious layouts, richly appointed furnishings, and oversize marble spa showers. Take in views of the courtyard, gardens, or fairways from your private terrace, accessed through window-paneled doors that let the sunshine in and bring the comfort right outdoors. Spend some time exploring the grounds of this magnificent property when you arrive, walking its floral-lined pathways, gazing over its verdant greens, and discovering the many facilities - from The Plaza Shops to the Chopra Center for yoga and meditation, and the multiple shimmering outdoor pools.

We were put in the oldest part of the property that was not even attached to the main part of the hotel and the furthest possible distance from the main area. We asked to move and they said they could not accommodate us even though the hotel was half empty. They did not even clean our room. I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. The pools and slides are old and it was not even warm. This place used to be a decent option if you wanted to take your family to Legoland or nearby attractions. I will never take my family here again.

A little out of the way but overall quite worth it. Beautiful grounds and well maintained facilities. Staff is professional and friendly. The many perks for being a member makes me what to come back. Perfect place for a weekend getaway to relax, eat, golf, walk, bike, etc

La Costa is not as good as it used to be. The property looks run down and some of the rooms have not been updated for a while. The food at the Vue was good. I wish they had had more activities for teens to do. Over all it was an ok visit but I am not sure we will be going back.

We have stayed at many of the Omni locations and this one didn't disappoint either. All the staff is always friendly and super helpful. We're going back for my mom's and my birthday. We can't wait for their Mexico location to open. Thank you for everything La Costa Omni.

Beautiful setting, grounds, kind staff. Very mediocre food, rooms. And food itself is scarce if there is a conference occurring. All restaurants booked out for private events, room service menu very limited, and subject to 90 minute wait. Rooms are tired, furniture worn, shower drain smelled like it needed to be snaked. Thank goodness this wasn't a vacation, as it would have been very disappointing. This brand needs to do better, be better, and not over extend itself if its not able to adequately serve its guests. The poor staff are doing their best, but it's an uphill battle. This is not a brand I will choose in the future.

Used the Edge adult pool for the first time. This really made the trip. I loved the view, the seating, the pool and the number of jacuzzis.
